An Explanation of Potential Challenges for Evaluation During Your Field Education Experience

Evaluation occurs in different ways during the field education experience. I receive evaluation from my field instructor on my performance at the therapy office. I also evaluate the clients that I have interactions with while interning. Both of which can pose separate types of challenges. Receiving constructive criticism can be difficult for some. A potential challenge with receiving the evaluation and criticism from my field instructor would be my inability to do so in a short period and apply it. However, it is imperative to use this feedback to critique and affirm my own practice (Garthwait, 2017, p.36). A potential challenge that I face in my evaluation of the clients is that it may be difficult to measure outcomes in such a short amount of time. We only have 11 weeks in each semester to get involved in our client interventions and many of the circumstances require much longer than that.

An Explanation of Personal Action Plans You Might Take to Address Evaluation in Your Field Education Experience

I believe an action plan for the potential challenges faced with the evaluation from the instructor is to take notes on the information being shared and allow processing time. I write notes with questions to ensure I understand what is being said, and ask any questions I may have about improving my practice. As far as an action plan for the potential challenge of evaluating the clients, I can conduct a pre/post survey of the clients I was able to work with to see what they have learned and utilized from the class currently and again at the final weeks. I can also follow up with my field instructor after I stop interning, to see how influential I have been on them.

PEER 2  Candise Mitchell

Sometimes complex social problems require complex interventions, and sometimes they respond well to simple interventions (Thyer, 2013). This simplicity also applies to social worker procedures and protocol. Being a social worker is not an easy task. It is easy to think that it consists of just talking to others, but the interventions, research, and paperwork can be more challenging than a defiant client. Within my internship I have learned a great deal regarding client care and interactions for with adults and couples regarding trauma, domestic violence, couples counseling, anger management, and self-care just to name a few. However, the challenges within my placement largely consisted of communication. There was a serious mix-up regarding timesheets and monthly reports. They were being completed but due to a lack of communication and direction, they were being sent to the wrong department. This caused a lot of tension between several departments regarding communication, time management, and organization skills. The fall through of communication was a major challenge that could have been avoided; however, it is important to understand that these challenges are teachable moments within internship placements. The paperwork has been completed and each department is happy but moving forward I will not rely on the communication of others but conduct my own department check-ins and communication to ensure that client cases are being reported properly.

PEER 3 Seshna Ritchie

Reliable and valid standardized instruments, such as the geriatric depression scale, are not commonly used by hospice social workers (Parker Oliver, Wittenberg-Lyles, Washington, & Sehrawat, 2009). Unlike the numeric pain scale or other tools for pain assessment supporting the nurses, hospice social workers have not agreed upon ways to measure the psychosocial issues facing their clients. While some within the hospice social work community have developed standardized assessment tools –the Social Work Assessment Tool (Reese et al., 2006) is one example–their adoption has been limited. The lack of standardized assessment often results in an unfocused intervention (Parker Oliver, et al., 2009). Unfocused interventions can leave hospice social workers with an ambiguous identity on the team, unable to articulate their role in terms understood by the medical team members, and unable to determine the effectiveness of their work, and difficultly in evaluating the social work scope of work in hospice. At Infinity Hospice, data for the work social workers do are tracked through a metric system. Each time the social worker provides therapeutic emotional support or helps to connect the patient to community resources we document in our EMR system the task completed and update the metric which is measured in percentages 0-100%. The social worker records and updates their percentages after each interaction, the issues with this type of measurement tool are that it does not fully capture the efforts done by the social worker as typically 100 is never reach by time of death. However, the company reports the data to Medicare to stay in compliance. Evaluation is done differently in hospice social work, and we do not complete individual evaluations but other documents and records to measure outcomes overall as an interdisciplinary team that met the Plan of Care for the patient upon death or discharge.

Administration Cybersecurity Policy Review

Project 5: Administration Cybersecurity Policy Review
Start Here

It is important for you as a policy professional to understand a range of policies set forth by past, current, and future US presidential administrations. Cybersecurity professionals must understand the impact of an administration’s policy content from multiple perspectives. Analysis of US government cyber policy with current and historical perspectives is pertinent to senior cybersecurity staff in order to assist in the management of cybersecurity risks.

This is the fifth of six sequential projects. In this project, you will analyze the current and previous administration’s cybersecurity policies within the context of current cybersecurity concerns.  You will identify the issues in the policies about which an organization should be concerned, taking into account the effects of the policy on civil liberties with some focus on FISMA and NIST. You will also evaluate FISMA’s ability to both assess compliance and insure accountability.

By the end of the course, you will understand the effect that administration cybersecurity policy has on your own organization—public or private sector.

There are 12 steps in this project. Begin with a review of your project scenario.

Transcript

Competencies

Your work will be evaluated using the competencies listed below.

  • 1.4:      Tailor communications to the audience.
  • 2.3:      Evaluate the information in a logical and organized manner to determine      its value and relevance to the problem.
  • 7.1:      Evaluate national cybersecurity policy.

Step 1: Complete the Developing Cybersecurity Law and Policy eLearning Module

Before you begin the analysis for your report, you should understand how cybersecurity laws and policies are developed. Complete the Developing Cybersecurity Law and Policy eLearning module to better introduce yourself to some key concepts of cyber law, including transnational issues and the absence of law, jurisdiction, and attribution.

You will also cover continuously shifting internet governance through the Internet Corporation for Assigned Numbers and Names (ICANN) and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). In addition, the module discusses the domain name system (DNS), human rights, and the challenges of monocultures. Take notes on key concepts that will help you in your analysis.

Step 2: Project Practice – SIMTRAY Federal Cybersecurity Agency: Day 1

In the previous step, you were introduced to how cybersecurity laws and policies are developed. You will continue familiarizing yourself with federal regulations and laws by exploring the SIMTRAY titled, “Federal Cybersecurity Agency: Find Your Way in Three Days.”

SIMTRAY is a simulation that presents you with scenarios that will provide insight into how governments ensure the security of their networks and what role they play in addressing issues that arise in private industry. Some of the issues and topics addressed in this exercise include categorizing information types, intellectual property issues (intellectual property – cybersecurity), cybersecurity law, Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS), state cybersecurity law, broadband, and the TIE model.

The SIMTRAY will provide you with scores to give you a sense on how well you are grasping the concepts. The sections are timed for 30 minutes; however, you can run the SIMTRAY as many times as you need. Record your best score and at least one lesson learned from the exercise to include in your report at the end of the three-day simulation.

Step 3: Project Practice – SIMTRAY Federal Cybersecurity Agency: Day 2

In the previous step, you started to examine the SIMTRAY, “Federal Cybersecurity Agency: Find Your Way in Three Days.” In this step, continue to focus on SIMTRAY, but document the specific issues that you believe could be better addressed by federal policy. You may encounter the following topics in this exercise: categorizing information types, intellectual property issues (intellectual property – cybersecurity), cybersecurity law, Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS), state cybersecurity law, broadband, and the TIE model.

Step 4: Project Practice – SIMTRAY Federal Cybersecurity Agency: Day 3

In this step, you should continue to explore the scenarios within SIMTRAY, “Federal Cybersecurity Agency: Find Your Way in Three Days.” If you have not already, you will most likely encounter the following topics in this exercise: classifying information types, intellectual property issues (intellectual property – cybersecurity), cybersecurity law, Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS), state cybersecurity law, broadband, and the TIE model. Document events that you experience in the exercise that might affect the federal policy. Think about how these issues will be affected by current or pending legislation and begin to explore how you might be able to influence Congress to pass appropriate legislation.

The SIMTRAY will provide you with scores to give you a sense on how well you are grasping the concepts. The sections are timed for 30 minutes; however, you can run the SIMTRAY as many times as you need. Compile your recorded scores, lessons learned and documented industry issues into a one-page report.

Submit your report for feedback.

Submission for Federal Cybersecurity Agency Simtray Report

Step 5: Complete the Recent Administration Cybersecurity Policy eLearning Module

So far in this project, you have completed the developing cybersecurity law and policy eLearning module and the Federal Cybersecurity Agency SIMTRAY to familiarize yourself with how cybersecurity laws and policies are developed. However, you should also understand how prior administrations have affected current policy.

In this step, you will complete the Recent Administration Cybersecurity Policy eLearning module to better understand how the prior administration handled cybersecurity policy. You will cover the key points of the Cyberspace Policy Review and the US Government Accountability Office (GAO) report, which is a follow-up to the review. You will also cover the role of the cyber czar, and how the Cyberspace Policy Review findings eventually led to the new cyber command, USCYBERCOM.

Take notes on the key concepts that will help you in your analysis of the current and previous administration’s cybersecurity policies..

Step 6: Review the Current Administration’s Key Cybersecurity Policy

Now that you have familiarized yourself with how cybersecurity law and policy is developed and how the recent administration has handled cybersecurity policy, you are ready to begin your analysis. Conduct research on the current administration’s key cybersecurity policies. This information can be found in official government communications (e.g., whitehouse.gov or dhs.gov websites) as well as in publications about or transcripts of statements/speeches made by administration officials. You will use the Administration Policy Matrix to record your findings. Include one state law or regulation that is relevant to cybersecurity and four respective key principles. You will continue to use this matrix in the following step.

Step 7: Research the Previous Administration’s Cybersecurity Policy

In the previous step, you began your analysis by reviewing the current administration’s key cybersecurity policy tenets. In this step, you will conduct research on the previous administration’s key cybersecurity policies. As in the previous step, you may find information in official government communications (e.g., whitehouse.gov or dhs.gov websites) as well as in publications about or transcripts of statements/speeches made by administration officials. Continue using the Administration Policy Matrix that you began in the last step. You will use your findings in the following step.

Step 8: Compare and Contrast the Current and Previous Administration’s Cybersecurity Policies

Now that you have documented tenets from both the current and previous administration’s cybersecurity policies, you will analyze them using a compare and contrast methodology. Using your completed Administration Policy Matrix, prepare a one-page chart that compares and contrasts the cybersecurity administration policies of the previous and current administration.

Submit both the Administration Policy Matrix and your Administration Compare and Contrast Chart for feedback.

Submission for Administration Policy Matrix

Step 9: Focus on FISMA Discussion

Until now, you have focused on analyzing current and past administrations’ cybersecurity policy. However, your analysis would not be complete without considering a focus on statutes and organizations that determine standards such as FISMA and NIST.

Using the discussion board, pair with another student in the cybersecurity management and policy arena and discuss the introduction of and the effectiveness of FISMA for the federal government. Conduct a high-level review of the FISMA document. Evaluate FISMA’s ability to both assess compliance and ensure accountability. This discussion will be useful for your FISMA report in the following step.

Step 10: Focus on FISMA Report

Use your discussion from the previous step as a basis for the report in this step.

Remember, there are methods that the government uses for quantifying information security and loss. Create a two-page document that summarizes the impact of FISMA upon the quantification within the government, how FISMA implementation can affect the quantification, and the need for FISMA adherence across the federal government.

Write a two-page discussion with the following points:

Describe and discuss the objectives of policy makers.

Describe and discuss the general problems that limit the effectiveness of vehicles that try to govern cybersecurity.

Considering the general problems discussed in the previous point, discuss ideas for improving cybersecurity.

Discuss how well you think FISMA works in the workplace.

This document will serve as the FISMA conclusions section of your final report. Submit your Focus on FISMA report for feedback.

Submission for Focus on FISMA Report

Step 11: Focus on NIST Report

Now that you have considered FISMA, it is time to consider an organization that defines standards and guidelines to comply with FISMA.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is an organization that works collaboratively with government and industry to create cybersecurity policies and standards. While much of the work that NIST does is more technical, in this segment you will explore the cybersecurity policy side of NIST. Your policy research should include FIPS 200 and SP 800-53, addressing both the intent of these policies as well as assessing how well they have been implemented. Through researching the NIST cybersecurity documents, complete the NIST Template to create a high-level list of the “management and policy” cybersecurity issues put forth by NIST for government agencies and private industry.

This document will help you compose the NIST conclusions section of your final report. Submit your Focus on NIST report for feedback.

Submission for NIST Template

Step 12: Compile Final Report on National Cybersecurity Policy

Throughout this project, you have reviewed and analyzed the presidential administration’s cybersecurity policy, FISMA, and NIST. You will now compile your findings in a final report for your boss to deliver to the board of directors. Refer to the instruction for the final report for additional guidelines.

Submit your completed final report.

Check Your Evaluation Criteria

Before you submit your assignment, review the competencies below, which your instructor will use to evaluate your work. A good practice would be to use each competency as a self-check to confirm you have incorporated all of them. To view the complete grading rubric, click My Tools, select Assignments from the drop-down menu, and then click the project title.

1.4: Tailor communications to the audience.

2.3: Evaluate the information in a logical and organized manner to determine its value and relevance to the problem.

Social Marketing

Customers have high expectations about companies and brands they prefer. Stakeholders presume an organization will consider what is best for society when selling its products and services alongside what will benefit earnings.

Today, societal marketing is on the rise as more companies consider the value proposition of their image beyond features and benefits of a product or service. Societal marketing takes into account issues such as the environment, fair trade, and the overall betterment of society.

WEEK 1 DISCUSSION POST

Organizations often require managers to write short articles for newsletter or blog publication. Becoming comfortable writing this style of commentary for a general audience is important in an era in which media can be authored by anyone.

The focus of your work will be social responsibility of the chosen company(The company is a made-up company called Lead Logistics. They transport freight locally. The freight they move consists of goods such as furniture and other appliances for local businesses to their customer.) This is a public relations-style article. Today’s consumers of media want quick, informative, and exciting information. It can be written in 1st or 3rd person.

This post should be 200-300 words in length. If you are engaging in research, be sure to cite in the body of the post and add a reference list in APA format

WEEK 1 INTERACTIVE RESPONSES TO CLASSMATES

1st Interactive Response:

  • Select one article and critique it. Ask questions or provide advice that will improve it.

2nd Interactive Response:

  • Select another article and critique it. Ask questions or provide advice that will improve it.

Each reply should be one paragraph in length (or about 75 words) and must be substantive in nature. Do not simply say “I agree” or “That is great.” Specify why and be detailed in your explanation. You may use research in your responses, but it is not required.

WEEK 2 DISCUSSION POST

Finding the Perfect Message

Understanding the features and benefits of a product is essential to forming the overall marketing plan’s creative message. Brands use creative appeals to connect with the customer target markets. Product features transform into benefits for the customers to meet their wants and needs.

Provide a brief description of your chosen product/service. (The company is a made-up company called Lead Logistics. They transport freight locally. The freight they move consists of goods such as furniture and other appliances for local businesses to their customer.)

  • Discuss how the product fits a lifestyle or psychographic.
  • List two features of the product and assess how they transform into benefits for your target market.

This post should be 2 paragraphs in length (150-200 words). Since you are engaging in research, be sure to cite in the body of the post and add a reference list in APA format.

WEEK 2 INTERACTIVE RESPONSES TO CLASSMATES

1st Interactive Response:

  • Analyze the fit of the product fits a lifestyle or psychographic in one student’s post.

2nd Interactive Response:

  • Select another student’s post and analyze the fit between benefit and consumer.

Each reply should be one paragraph in length (or about 75 words) and must be substantive in nature. Do not simply say “I agree” or “That is great.” Specify why and be detailed in your explanation. You may use research in your responses, but it is not required.

In your own words, respond to the discussion and comments of classmates. Grades will be based on effectual, concise, and interactive feedback. The excessive use of quotes will directly impact performance, since this indicates a lack of comprehension and shows that you may not have mastered the concepts.

Description

Student Led Discussion On Plato

1. What is apology?
The Apology is supposed to be the most reliable explanation that has been well-preserved of Socrates’ protection of himself as it was obtainable before Athenian Assembly. It is in indispensable agreement with the orientations to trial that happen in Plato’s additional dialogs also through the account specified in Xenophon’s Collectables. https://essayharbour.info/2021/06/15/chapter-five-gambling-eating-disorders-shopping-and-other-behavioral-addicti/ It seems to record, in several examples, the precise words used through Socrates though making his dialogue in protection of himself. According to me, Apologizing can supports people to act effectively in the upcoming future, uphold their self-respect, as well as restore their integrity in eyes of others. Individual’s apology might not be accepted immediately, but they will probably feel reassured that they have done right thing as well as attempted to make amends for their mistake (Plato et al., 2002).2. https://essaypandit.com/choose-a-celebrity-musician-child-star-demi-lovato-drew-barrymore-oprah-ty/ What is Euthyphro?Euthyphro narrates a discussion that took place among Socrates as well as Euthyphro regarding the sense of piety, or that asset frequently regarded like a way of living that achieves one’s responsibility both to gods as well as to humanity. It is of specific interest concerning the fortune of Socrates in as much as he has newly been stimulating with sin as well as I about to be tried before Athenian law court to define his innocence or guilt of crime credited to him. Both Euthyphro and Socrates are convoluted in matters of legal landscape. Socrates has been suspect of impiety as well as is facing a court trial. Euthyphro is a plaintiff in an approaching trial for a murder. https://theeliteessaywriters.com/2021/06/16/i-need-this-assignment-as-soon-as-possiblecompetencyin-this-project-you-will/ Socrates requests who it is and who is being stimulating with that specific crime (Plato et al., 2002).

Inventory Management Use Templet DP

Answer questions regarding inventory management. USE TEMPLET

Introduction

Inventories are the least liquid form of any assets. In other words, they cannot be converted into cash easily. Inventories can be in the form of raw material, goods under process, or finished goods, but unless the finished goods are sold, cash is tied up into inventories. Similarly, if the raw material is not converted into final goods, then cash is blocked in raw material. Therefore, managing inventories and supply chains is very important for merchandising businesses.

Have you ever taken advantage of a preinventory sale at your favorite retail store? Many stores offer bargain prices to reduce the merchandise on hand and to minimize the time and expense of taking the inventory. A smaller inventory also enhances the probability of taking an accurate inventory since the store has less merchandise to count.

From your studies you know that companies use inventory amounts to determine the cost of goods sold. This major expense affects a merchandising company’s net income. Now, you examine the importance and role of inventories in preparing an accurate income statement and balance sheet. Your work will also stress the importance of having accurate inventory figures and the serious consequences of using inaccurate inventory figures. After more study, you should understand how taking inventory connects with the cost of goods sold figure on the store’s income statement, the retained earnings amount on the statement of retained earnings, and both the inventory figure and the retained earnings amount on the store’s balance sheet.

Overview

This assessment focuses on cost flow assumptions and inventory valuation. It requires an understanding of:

  • The value of proper merchandise inventory valuation for an organization’s financials.
  • The concept of the physical flow of goods.
  • The most commonly used inventory valuation methods.
  • How to use alternative historical cost methods for valuing merchandise inventory.
  • How to use the inventory turnover ratio as a tool for financial analysis.

Thesis assistance

Thesis required on Alzheimer’s, instructions below:

This week you will be working on the rough draft of your paper. A rough draft is a copy of your paper that you will continue to shape, edit and strengthen for the final draft. Your rough draft must consist of writing an introduction, supporting body paragraphs and a conclusion. At this point, you should already provide me with an almost final version of your paper.

I suggest you take the outline you have already done and use it to guide your writing for the rough draft. While following your outline is important, putting every little detail and piece of supporting information into your paper in the rough draft is not always necessary, but do what works for you. Your notes and outline together serve as guides for what you intend to include and where you intend to include it. Remember the rough draft is not the final paper, but a glimpse of what is to come.

The following are some tips provided from the writing research center, for writing your rough draft:

Writing the introduction of your rough draft
With your outline in sight, start writing the introduction of your rough draft. The ultimate goal of a strong introduction is to get the attention and interest of your readers. In addition, your introduction should do the following:

• Include some background information on your topic
• Make the perspective and point of view clear
• Contain your thesis statement
• Provide a roadmap of how your paper is organized (broadly defined)
• Focus on the main points you make within the body of your paper

Writing the body paragraphs of your rough draft
The body paragraphs of your rough draft are the backbone of your paper; they hold the supporting information that backs up your thesis. Keep the suggestions below in mind as you write each paragraph:

• Start each paragraph with a clear topic sentence that defines what the paragraph is about
• Write smooth transitions between paragraphs using transitional words and phrases
• Avoid writing paragraphs that are too short because they show a lack of development
• Stay in the active voice to keep your paper clear and effective
• Maintain your point of view or perspective to keep the paper focused
• Avoid summarizing information you have already written about –save it for the conclusion
• Support your perspective and interpretations with data in the form of indirect and direct quotations
• Replace your keywords with synonyms periodically to avoid repetitive language
• Cite all sourced material
• Make sure the sentences of each paragraph flow to form a cohesive point

Writing the conclusion of your rough draft
The conclusion of your rough draft is where you tie everything together. Some of the information is similar to that found in the introduction, but it should not be a word-for-word copy. In the conclusion, more emphasis is placed on the results of your research or on broader implications on the subject as a whole. To write the conclusion, follow the below steps:
• Re-read your introduction while paying particular attention to the development of it and supporting body paragraphs
• Set the introduction aside
• Summarize the argument made in your introduction
• Conclude your argument(s)

Ultimately, your conclusion is your last chance to help readers truly understand what your paper is about, so it needs to show the order and importance of your main points and show how you logically conclude the paper.

Remember as you write your rough draft that it is okay to omit the more detailed information to focus on the flow and transition of each paragraph. The details obtained through your research are easily added after the first draft is complete. In fact, through the process of finalizing your paper, you are likely to edit, proofread, make corrections and change things up quite a bit.

Once the basics of your paper are in place, though, applying those finishing touches to strengthen your paper is much easier. With a rough draft completed, you should take a day or two away from the paper to provide clarity and a fresh perspective when you come back to finalizing it.
