As the largest health care workforce group, nurses are well suited to collaborate with other team members in the clinical work for an effective healthcare delivery (Matthys, Remmen, & Van Bogaert, 2017). 

Collaboration is multidimensional and can occur in both face-to-face encounters and electronically for exchange of views and ideas.   Collaboration is a planned or an unplanned engagement that takes place between individuals or teams of individuals, whether in-person or mediated by technology, where information is exchanged in some way (either explicitly, i.e. verbally or written, or implicitly, i.e. through shared understanding of gestures, emotions, etc.), and often occur across different roles (i.e. physician and nurse) to deliver patient care (Weir, 2011).

With reference to health informatics, a systematic review of literature, (Eikey, Reddy, & Kuziemsky, 2015), methods of collaborative work in health setting include telemedicine application, EMR, HER, EPR, CPOE, mobile technology, (PDAs, pagers, mobile phones), Web 2.0 applications, internet, online health communities, picture archives, and communication system, medicine dispensing devices and barcode systems, HIT and any other specific application. The authors further presented the “collaboration space model”, to help researchers study collaboration and technology in healthcare.

In my healthcare setting, we use several health informatics methods such as pagers, mobile phones, communication system, medicine dispensing devices and barcode systems, but one that has been much applauded during this COVID 19 era is Telemedicine. I work in a psych/detox hospital.

We found telemedicine very relevant based on research results indicating that people with mental health problems are twice more likely to be frequent users of hospital emergency departments (Hunt, Weber, Showstack, Colby, & Callaham, 2006). The use of the emergency department for routine clinical care poses a huge strain on the health system because of the high cost of treatment, restricting use of the emergency department  for admission of patients who really require admissions. This is also because of the associated complexity and pressure to admit patients for inpatient care (Institute of Medicine (U.S.), 2007).

Recent technological advancements have led to easy access to videoconferencing utilizing personal computers or tablets. A few research work has also been carried out using telemedicine. Patients are encouraged to check their vital signs using personal devices. Also, the introduction of asynchronous store-and-forward approaches enable clinicians review their patient without direct interaction. Also, telehomecare enables clinicians monitor their patients in their own homes (Yellowlees et al., 2010).  Telepsychiatry aims to improve quality of care to patients and reduce costs in three ways: it will carry out assessment at a distance, the specialist will be able to provide emergency department doctors opinion on complex cases and it will provide information on follow-up appointments using patients’ own technology. Moreover, patients with mental health challenges have a unique set of preferences and needs different from those with general medical conditions. These include face-to face verbal interventions, instructions about their oral medications, challenges about their medications, social support services, coordinated discharge planning and more confidentiality (Allen, Carpenter, Sheets, Miccio, & Ross, 2003). 

The use of this collaborative health informatics had produced a high positive impact in clinical area by improving patient’s outcome and by producing data from research work. It has also promoted inter-professional interaction.

Give Your Ideas Credibility

You MUST always give support and evidence to back up your opinions. Didn’t like the acting? Say why. Name which actors you didn’t like and explain what you didn’t like about their performance. Please do not simply state that it was “believable” or “not believable.” Get specific. Give me an example.With every opinion you express about the show, give 2-3 examples to support it. That would actually make a great paragraph right there. Do that a few times, then, with a good thesis tying it all together…you have a paper!And don’t summarize! Only give as much plot detail as is necessary to make your point.

Among the BRIC countries, China’s economy has slowed the third economic power down 

significantly, due to the partnership with China.  The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the 

BRIC countries, China has come out of it.  BRIC countries lack a economic interest  in exports

due to trade from the West.  Brazil, Russia, India and Africa have similarities in a lot of 

economic areas, where it doesn’t pay to trade amongst themselves, not enough GDP would come 

from it.  BRICS countries compete in third markets, Russia has a negative GDP of -3.97, 

whereas Africa does  slightly better than Russia and Brazil, but India performs the best, due to 

the least external factors.  Diversity of cultures can prohibit growth in the BRIC countries, 

whereas Western influence plays a part in too similar economies of scale. 

     Among the internal factors, among BRIC, they are strengthening ties with the World

Bank, The Asian infrastructure of the Asian Bank, and reforming trade among the Western

World.  The severe economic downturn of Brazil, Russia and South Africa, among high 

unemployment status, and severe inflation, will have Brazil, Russia, and South Africa have high

crime, which is all inclusive in a internal factor among the BRIC countries. The BRIC countries

need to strengthen infrastructure, moral reform of trade and a economic upturn among global 

marketing, and to diversify the economy among the BRIC countries, China leads the countries in 

that department, Brazil, Russia, India and South Africa need to learn and emulate China on 

global positioning of trade and economies of scale.

Underqualified workforce is an internal factor that has led to India’s less preferred global status. Most of India’s population works in the agriculture, service and manufacturing sectors and lack expertise that is required by international firms. For example, of its 1.3 billion population, approximately 40% are illiterate, while others are ineligible (Aceto, 2015). 

External factors 

Russia

The economic downturn is an example of external factors that have made Russia an unpopular market. Research shows that the country’s economy has been declining for the past three years. Research has also indicated that the country’s government has not implemented strategies that could turn the situation around (Movchan, 2015).

India

India’s political climate is characterized by high levels of corruption and discourages investors. The high rate of corruption affects the level of corporate profits.

Brazil

Financial risk is an example of an external factor that could lead to a downgrade in its status. The country’s credit risk and bankruptcy rate have been increasing, which has a direct impact on companies (Sottovia, M, 2019).

China

Lack of transparency is an external factor that has led to China’s less preferred global status. It is difficult for foreign investors to obtain business regulations and laws because they have not been announced. This bureaucracy makes foreign investors feel unfairly treated and discriminated against.

Executive Summary

The purpose of this report is to gain permission and support to proceed with initiatives to expand ToolsCorp to a multinational organization that will compete on a global scale.  The goal is to develop a full and comprehensive business plan to outline the strategic initiatives that will be used to gain entry in the global marketplace.  The information and data support this initiative to be profitable and feasible for the company.    

The process included researching countries to collect data on consumer behavior and what characteristics consumers looked for in high-quality products.  This also included researching and collecting qualitative and quantitative data on top global competitors.  The implication is seeing common characteristics and defining factors that were unique to each.  This provides a measure to show how ToolsCorp can not only expand in the manufacturing tools industry, but also identify and take advantage of weaknesses that exist with competitors to gain the competitive advantage.    

The findings show the growth market for this industry provides an ideal opportunity to grow and expand on a global platform and find success in building name recognition and expanding the consumer base.  This is fueled by technological advances that help enhance tool quality (Bottani & Vignali, 2019).  Growth and expansion opportunities are reflective in the SWOT analysis, market analysis and business plan portions of this document.  

Further discussion indicates there is a demand for high-quality products such as power tools, lawn mowers, microwaves, etc. that consumers have a need/desire for.  In a global market, ToolsCorp can take advantage of that demand and supply high-quality goods to consumers.  This expansion will result in brand recognition associated with high-quality and durability.

Examine two of the films in Module #5 and write an essay focused on the following question: What are the differences in acting styles between two actors? The films in this section offer complex plots and fine-grained characterizations by actors who have different backgrounds and training.  This module introduced method acting and the success of the method actor often depends upon realism in the story, dialog, details, motivation and the arc of the character. Here are some possibilities:

1.  You may base part of your essay on the method actor you covered in your M5 Discussion or you may select another method actor from a different film.   Then you must compare the method actor to another actor in a different film who is not known as a method actor. 

2. You might compare a classically trained British stage actor and an American “method” actor, or a French actor and an American “method” actor, or an Indian actor to a classically trained British stage actor.  There are many other permutations and combinations but one of your actors should be method except in the rare case that you compare an International actor with a non-method British actor.
