Customer Service Plan Instructions

 Overview

Successful organizations take the time to plan for successful customer service. Parts of this plan include:

  1. Identifying the organization’s culture
  2. Customer characteristics
  3. Consumption behavior

This plan can then be used to develop and monitor strategies for business success and customer loyalty This article analysis requires you to find an article related to the customer service plan. You need to find examples of how an organization is addressing a part of the plan (noted above) toward their strategy of success. Identify what problems are being solved and negotiated in business and then apply this information to your own personal world.

Instructions

Part I:

Locate an online article (links can be found in the Additional Resources section of the eText area) which provides an example of the importance of the customer plan in action in business today. The article may directly mention the business plan, or you may find a company using parts of this plan to make decisions on strategy. Briefly summarize the article, using the textbook to support the information given.

Part II:

The second part of the paper is your opinion and thoughts about what you learned in Part I. Include the following:

  1. Examine how that part of the plan is affecting or could affect how the organization provides service.
  2. Describe how this plan incorporates ways to build customer loyalty.
  3. Incorporate your own experiences and relate them to information from the textbook that helps to support your thoughts and opinion.

Note: If you do not include your opinion, the paper WILL NOT be graded.

The paper should be 1-2 pages in length, double spaced with a font size not larger than 12 point, New Times Roman. Correct APA formatting is required, including proper references and in-text citations.

CIS498 Final Project: Project Plan

Final Project: Project Plan

Due Week 10 and worth 300 points

This assignment consists of three (3) sections: a written project plan, a revised Gantt chart or project plan, and a project plan PowerPoint presentation. You must submit the three (3) sections as separate files for the completion of this assignment. Label each file name according to the section of the assignment for which it is written. Additionally, you may create and / or assume all necessary assumptions needed for the completion of this assignment.

While taking all business and project parameters into consideration, make quality assumptions to support the following requirements.

Section 1: Written Project Plan

You are now in the final stage of the project plan development. All previous documentation will be combined into one (1) document that will serve as the statement of work for the project. Your goal is to have the project approved by the executive team and the venture capital group. The project plan is very detailed which is appropriate to accomplish the monumental task of implementation. However, the executive team is only interested in a ten (10) minute summation. Therefore, you also must create a compelling executive summary that is supported by your detail that convinces the executive group that your solution is optimal.

1. Write an eight to ten (8-10) page executive summary in which you provide a high-level technical overview of your project where you address the following:

  1. Describe the scope of the project and control measures.
  2. Describe the goals and objectives of the project.
  3. Give a detailed, realistically estimated cost analysis of the entire project.
  4. Relate the value of the project plan solution to the competitive advantage that information technology will afford your organization.
  5. Provide all aspects of the information technology implementation into the project plan.
  6. Use at least five (5) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

  • Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA or school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
  • Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.
  • Include charts or diagrams created in MS Visio and MS Project as appendix of the Word document. Make reference of these files in the body of the Word document.

Section 2: Revised Gantt Chart / Project Plan

Use Microsoft Project or an open source alternative, such as Open Project, to:

2. Update the Gantt chart or project plan (summary and detail) template, from Project Deliverable 4: Infrastructure and Security, with all the project tasks.

Section 3: Project Plan PowerPoint Presentation

Additional to your detailed executive summary you must present your findings to the executive team and the venture capital group that, along with the executive summary, will convince the group that your solution is optimal.

3. Create a ten to fifteen (10-15) slide PowerPoint presentation in which you:

a. Illustrate the concepts from your written report in Section 1 of this assignment.

b. Create bulleted speaking notes for your presentation to the executive board in the Notes section of the PowerPoint. Note: You may create or assume any fictitious names, data, or scenarios that have not been established in this assignment for a realistic flow of communication.

c. Use a professional technically written style to graphically convey the information.

The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of existing and emerging information technologies and strategic impact on organizational operations.
  • Evaluate the issues and challenges associated with information technology integration.
  • Summarize the competitive advantage that information technology affords to organizations.
  • Use technology and information resources to research issues in information technology.
  • Write clearly and concisely about strategic issues and practices in the information technology domain using proper writing mechanics and technical style conventions.

My Original project was based on a company named bicycle trader which essentially was very similar to “Ebay” in its function, if that’s relevant.

Assignment: Off-Label Drug Use in Pediatrics

PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AS INDICATED BELOW

5) Please, Include the Title page, Introduction, purpose statement, Literature Review, conclusion, and reference page.

Thank you very much.

The unapproved use of approved drugs, also called off-label use, with children is quite common. This is because pediatric dosage guidelines are typically unavailable, since very few drugs have been specifically researched and tested with children.

When treating children, prescribers often adjust dosages approved for adults to accommodate a child’s weight. However, children are not just “smaller” adults. Adults and children process and respond to drugs differently in their absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion.

Children even respond differently during stages from infancy to adolescence. This poses potential safety concerns when prescribing drugs to pediatric patients. As an advanced practice nurse, you have to be aware of the safety implications of the off-label use of drugs with this patient group.

To Prepare
  • Review the interactive media piece in this week’s Resources and reflect on the types of drugs used to treat pediatric patients with mood disorders.
  • Reflect on situations in which children should be prescribed drugs for off-label use.
  • Think about strategies to make the off-label use and dosage of drugs safer for children from infancy to adolescence. Consider specific off-label drugs that you think require extra care and attention when used in pediatrics.

Write a 1-page narrative in APA format that addresses the following:

  • Explain the circumstances under which children should be prescribed drugs for off-label use. Be specific and provide examples.
  • Describe strategies to make the off-label use and dosage of drugs safer for children from infancy to adolescence. Include descriptions and names of off-label drugs that require extra care and attention when used in pediatrics.

Therapy for Pediatric Clients with Mood Disorders
An African American Child Suffering From Depression

African American Child

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The client is an 8-year-old African American male who arrives at the ER with his mother. He is exhibiting signs of depression.

  • Client complained of feeling “sad”
  • Mother reports that teacher said child is withdrawn from peers in class
  • Mother notes decreased appetite and occasional periods of irritation
  • Client reached all developmental landmarks at appropriate ages
  • Physical exam unremarkable
  • Laboratory studies WNL
  • Child referred to psychiatry for evaluation

MENTAL STATUS EXAM

Alert & oriented X 3, speech clear, coherent, goal directed, spontaneous. Self-reported mood is “sad”. Affect somewhat blunted, but child smiled appropriately at various points throughout the clinical interview. He denies visual or auditory hallucinations. No delusional or paranoid thought processes noted. Judgment and insight appear to be age-appropriate. He is not endorsing active suicidal ideation, but does admit that he often thinks about himself being dead and what it would be like to be dead.

You administer the Children’s Depression Rating Scale, obtaining a score of 30 (indicating significant depression)

RESOURCES

§ Poznanski, E., & Mokros, H. (1996). Child Depression Rating Scale–Revised. Los Angeles, CA: Western Psychological Services.

PLEASE NOTE BELOW:

I have provided all the decision points about the drugs. Decisions point one is to pick one medication to begin, either Zoloft, Paxil, or Wellbutrin. I provided all decision points under each drug to follow if any changes are to be made.

For Zoloft:

  Decision Point One

Begin Zoloft 25 mg orally daily

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT ONE

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • No change in depressive symptoms at all

Decision Point Two

Increase dose to Zoloft 50 mg orally daily

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT TWO

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • Depressive symptoms decrease by 50%. Client tolerating well

Decision Point Three

Maintain current dose

Guidance to Student
At this point, sufficient symptom reduction has been achieved. This is considered a “response” to therapy. Can continue with current dose for additional 4 week to see if any further reductions in depressive symptoms are noted. An increase in dose may be warranted since this is not “full” remission- Discuss pros/cons of increasing drug dose with client at this time and empower the client to be part of the decision. There is no indication that the drug therapy should be changed to an SNRI at this point as the client is clearly responding to this therapy.

For Paxil:

Decision Point One

Begin Paxil 10 mg orally daily

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT ONE

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • Reduction in The Children’s Depression Rating Scale by 5 points overall, but with complaints of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea

Decision Point Two

Change to Prozac 10 mg orally daily

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT TWO

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • There is a 25% reduction in symptoms, client’s side effects of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea have resolved. Client reports that he is feeling a “little bit better”

Decision Point Three

Continue current dose

Guidance to Student
You have two equally compelling choices at this point. The client has only been taking the current drug at its current dose for 4 weeks. It would be appropriate to continue at current dose. Additionally, you could also increase the dose to 20 mg orally daily. A discussion of risk/benefits should be had with the childs guardian regarding this and collaborative decision making should occur. There is no indication at this point that augmentation agents are required as the child is showing a partial response to therapy.

For  Wellbutrin:

Decision Point One

Begin Wellbutrin 75 mg orally BID

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT ONE

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • Child is unable to fall asleep at night

 Decision Point Two

Change to Lexapro 10 mg orally daily

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT TWO

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • Child is tolerating Lexapro, and is sleeping at night. There is a 40% reduction in symptoms

 Decision Point Three

Continue current dose

Guidance to Student
At this point, there is no indicating that you should change back to Wellbutrin as the child is tolerating the current medication without mention of side effects. Also, the child is experiencing a reduction in symptoms. You could also increase the dose to 15 mg orally daily, but the child has only been taking the drug for 4 weeks at this point. It may be more prudent to give the current therapy an additional 4 weeks before making any decisions to change current dose.

Discussion: Decision Making When Treating Psychological Disorders

PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AS INDICATED BELOW:

1). ZERO (0) PLAGIARISM

2). ATLEAST 5 REFERENCES, NO MORE THAN 5 YEARS

3).  PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENT FOR RUBRIC DETAILS.

4). Please review and follow the grading rubric details well, and include each component in the assignment as required. Also, follow the APA writing rules and style, introduction, conclusion.

Psychological disorders, such as depression, bipolar, and anxiety disorders can present several complications for patients of all ages. These disorders affect patients physically and emotionally, potentially impacting judgment, school and/or job performance, and relationships with family and friends. Since these disorders have many drastic effects on patients’ lives, it is important for advanced practice nurses to effectively manage patient care. With patient factors and medical history in mind, it is the advanced practice nurse’s responsibility to ensure the safe and effective diagnosis, treatment, and education of patients with psychological disorders.

For this Discussion, you will select an interactive media piece to practice decision making when treating patients with psychological disorders. You will recommend the most effective pharmacotherapeutic to treat the psychological disorder presented and examine potential impacts of pharmacotherapeutics on a patient’s pathophysiology.

To Prepare
  • Review this week’s interactive media pieces and select one to focus on for this Discussion.
  • Reflect on the decision steps in the interactive media pieces, and consider the potential impacts from the administration of the associated pharmacotherapeutics on the patient’s pathophysiology.

Post a brief explanation of the psychological disorder presented and the decision steps you applied in completing the interactive media piece for the psychological disorder you selected. Then, explain how the administration of the associated pharmacotherapeutics you recommended may impact the patient’s pathophysiology. How might these potential impacts inform how you would suggest treatment plans for this patient? Be specific and provide examples.

Adult/Geriatric Depression
Hispanic Male With MDD

Hispanic male

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The client is a 70-year-old Hispanic American male who came to the United States when he was in high school with his father. His mother died back in Mexico when he was in school. He presents today to your office for an initial appointment for complaints of depression. The client was referred by his PCP after “routine” medical work-up to rule out an organic basis for his depression. He has no other health issues with the exception of some occasional back pain and “stiff” shoulders which he attributes to his current work as a laborer in a warehouse.

SUBJECTIVE

During today’s clinical interview, client reports that he always felt like an outsider as he was “teased” a lot for being “black” in high school. States that he had few friends, and basically kept to himself. He describes his home life as “good.” Stating “Dad did what he could for us, there were 8 of us.” He also reports a remarkably diminished interest in engaging in usual activities, states that he has gained 15 pounds in the last 2 months. He is also troubled with insomnia which began about 6 months ago, but have been progressively getting worse. He does report poor concentration which he reports is getting in “trouble” at work.

MENTAL STATUS EXAM

The client is alert, oriented to person, place, time, and event. He is casually dressed. Speech is clear, but soft. He does not readily make eye contact, but when he does, it is only for a few moments. He is endorsing feelings of depression. Affect is somewhat constricted, but improves as the clinical interview progresses. He denies visual or auditory hallucinations, no overt delusional or paranoid thought processes readily apparent. Judgment and insight appear grossly intact. He is currently denying suicidal or homicidal ideation. You administer the “Montgomery- Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS)” and obtained a score of 51 (indicating severe depression).

RESOURCES

§ Montgomery, S. A., & Asberg, M. (1979). A new depression scale designed to be sensitive to change. British Journal of Psychiatry, 134, 382-389.

  Decision Point One

Select what you should do:

Begin zoloft 25 mg orally dailyBegin Effexor XR 37.5 mg orally dailyBegin Phenelzine 15 mg orally TID

(There are three different medications above; Zoloft, Effexor, and Phenelzine. Choose Zoloft 25mg for me and follow the Decision Points one, two, and three as indicated).

 Decision Point One

Begin zoloft 25 mg orally daily

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT ONE

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • Reports a 25% decrease in symptoms
  • Client is concerned over the new onset of erectile dysfunction

  Decision Point One

Begin Effexor XR 37.5 mg orally daily

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT ONE

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • Client reports that there is no change in depressive symptoms at all

 Decision Point One

Begin Phenelzine 15 mg orally TID

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT ONE

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • Client reports that he was rushed to the Emergency Room 2 weeks ago after collapsing at the warehouse where he works. He was taken by ambulance to the local community hospital. He was diagnosed with postural hypotension
  • Client was treated with fluid bolus and told to stop taking his phenelzine and to follow up with his primary care provider within one week, and you within that same time frame

Decision Point Two

Select what you should do next:

Restart Phenelzine and counsel client on dietary choices and importance of hydrationPhenelzine is not reinitiated. Instead, we began therapy with Lexapro 20 mg orally daily after an appropriate “wash out” period (5 half-lives).Re-start Phenelzine 7.5 mg orally TID

 Decision Point Two

Restart Phenelzine and counsel client on dietary choices and importance of hydration

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT TWO

  • Client reports that although he had no more episodes of passing out, he has been dizzy when he gets up at night to use the bathroom
  • Client also reports that at various times throughout the day when he goes from a sitting to a standing position, he feels light-headed

 Decision Point Two

Re-start Phenelzine 7.5 mg orally TID

RESULTS OF DECISION POINT TWO

  • Client returns to clinic in four weeks
  • Client reported that he still has a little dizziness
  • Client also reports that that his depression has improved greatly (a 35% decrease in MADR scale from 51 to 33)

 Decision Point Three

Select what you should do next:

Continue current drug dose and counsel client on dietary modifications and orthostatic hypotension safetyAugment with Lexapro 10 mg orally dailyIncrease dose of Phenelzine back to 15 mg orally TID now that the client is tolerating lower dose

 Decision Point Three

Continue current drug dose and counsel client on dietary modifications and orthostatic hypotension safety

Guidance to Student
The initiation of an SSRI or SNRI should not begin until an adequate “wash out” period of MAOI- this is generally defined as the time it takes for 5 half-lives of the drug to be metabolized. Co-administration of SSRI, SNRI, or TCA with MAOI is contraindicated as it can cause serotonin syndrome and can actually be fatal. You can continue the current dose and counsel client as to dietary modifications as well as orthostatic hypotension safety, however, it should be remembered that he works in a warehouse and may be at risk for falls/injury due to orthostatic hypotension. A “watch and wait” approach may be appropriate if the client has failed all other antidepressants. Increasing the dose back to 15 mg orally TID is not indicated as his orthostatic hypotension will likely worsen.

“PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANY CLARIFICATION”.

Primary Source Analysis

Assignment Expectations: As part of your Research Project, the third assignment requirement expects students to complete a Primary Source Analysis Assignment of TWO primary sources on your chosen topic. For this assignment, you will do a search for two (2) primary sources from an appropriate database that houses primary sources related to your topic (further details below). Once students select two primary sources, they should complete the appropriate Primary Source Analysis Worksheet. Finally, after reading and analyzing your two sources, students will write a 250-word Primary Source Analysis Narrative for each primary source. Once again, for each primary source, students will submit a Primary Source Analysis Worksheet and a 250-word Primary Source Analysis Narrative. Keep reading to find out more about where to find sources for this assignment and what your analysis should include. As always, if you have questions, please feel free to reach out to your instructor.

But First, What Exactly is a Primary Source? Primary Sources are original records of the political, economic, artistic, scientific, social and intellectual thoughts and achievements of specific historical periods. They are produced by the people who participated in and witnessed the past. Primary sources offer a variety of points of view and perspectives of events, issues, people and places. These original sources were used or created by someone with firsthand experience of an event and these records can be found anywhere – i.e. at home or in government archives. Moving forward, if you still have questions about primary sources, please email me with questions. If you prefer further verification, please feel free to email me the sources that you plan to use.

National Archives: Primary Source Analysis Worksheets – The National Archives has created analysis worksheets to help you work with primary sources. Copies of these worksheets are provided as attachments in the Primary Source Analysis assignment. The worksheets consist of a combination of checklists and short-answer questions that will help you focus on the most important elements of many different types of historical documents. You will need the worksheets to complete the Primary Source Analysis assignment

Where can you find Primary Sources? Where should students look for primary sources?? Well, the UMGC LIBRARY, of course!! Why, you ask? Well, the UMGC library subscribes to many databases that contain such resources and are available to you in full-text and electronic format. Additionally, students can find sources through the Library of Congress, National Archives or University Libraries and Archives.

Here are some helpful links to get started with the research process.

What are Primary Sources??

How to Cite Primary Sources

How do I Analyze Primary Sources?

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with questions about finding appropriate primary sources for your research. Do not use resources from history.org, Britannica.com, online encyclopedias or similar tertiary sources. While these tertiary sources are useful for general knowledge, they are not primary sources. Should students use one or more of these sites, then they will not receive credit and the instructor will ask you to redo this assignment.

Assignment Directions: After selecting, reading and analyzing your primary source(s), please make sure that both analyses follow the format below and includes the following information. Please note, students must submit a Primary Source Analysis Worksheet for each source AND a Primary Source Analysis Narrative for each source. If possible, please save all of your work in one PDF or Word document file to submit to your instructor for review.

  • Complete a Primary Source Analysis Worksheet for each primary source. Please make sure to elaborate with your answers. The more information, the better!
  • Format: Each Primary Source Analysis Narrative should be typed in a word document, with 1-inch margins, double spaced, and include no less than 250 words.
  • Bibliography: At the top of each Primary Source Analysis Narrative, students should provide a complete bibliographic entry. This complete bibliographic entry should include a formal citation, including the URL and your date of access. How should you cite your primary source?? Check out the link below.
  • Analysis and Content: Each Primary Source Analysis Narrative should include a detailed summary of source– in your own words. Ultimately, this should be written within the first two paragraphs of your analysis and should:
    • Identify the type of source, author, when and where the source was produced, and any unique quality or characteristics
    • Summary of source
    • Strengths and Weaknesses of source; any unanswered questions
    • What the source indicates about the time period it was produced and how the source defined, influenced and/or shaped history within the time frame of the course and possibly on a global scale.
  • Each primary source should explain how the article pertains to your research
    • Ideally this information would be stated at the end of your analysis
    • It is important that students share more than a simple sentence in this analysis. I would like to see a paragraph dedicated to this portion of the assignment.

Submitting Your Work: Students can submit their work under the Primary Source Assignment directions. Click on this assignment, scroll to the bottom of the page where you see “Add Attachments,” and then attach assignment here. Students can also submit this assignment through the Assignment tab. Students will also see the rubric attached to this assignment. Please make sure to review the rubric before submitting your final draft.

Quantitative Annotated Bibliography

In this week’s discussion question you were asked to consider a potential problem (appropriate to your role option) that you would like to investigate through nursing research. For this assignment you will review current research from South’s Online Library and provide a critical evaluation on that research through an annotated bibliography. An annotated bibliography is a brief summary and analysis of the journal article reviewed. For more information on annotated bibliographies please visit Purdue’s OWL: Purdue Online Writing Lab

A total of two annotated bibliographies are to be submitted (not to exceed one page each). The articles must come from nursing scholarly literature and may not be older than 5 years since publication. Please note that the articles must be research based and reflect a quantitative methodology (review our reading assignments). Web pages, magazines, textbooks, and other books are not acceptable.

Each annotation must address the following critical elements:

  • Explanation of the main purpose and scope of the cited work
  • Brief description of the research conducted
  • Value and significance of the work (e.g., study’s findings, scope of the research project) as a contribution to the subject under consideration
  • Possible shortcomings or bias in the work
  • Conclusions or observations reached by the author
  • Summary as to why this research lends evidence to support the potential problem identified specific to your role option.

First reply:

The quote for this option resonated with me quite a bit. It opened my eyes reading this option as in my opinion, believing in the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a fundamental belief of all of Christianity. I do not think that someone can claim to be a Christian and yet deny that Christ was resurrected on the third day after his crucifixion. In the Bible this is illustrated quite clearly: “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9) Obviously scripture makes this pretty cut and dry, but something that really stuck out to me was not from the Bible, but rather our assigned reading this week. From the Resurrection and Ascension section, “there must be some historical truth in the claims of Jesus’ Resurrection, for no one trying to build a case would have rested it on the testimony of women, who had little status in a patriarchal society.” (Fisher, pg. 320) this opened my eyes a bit because I never thought of it in this sense. Of course women did not have the equal social and economic status back then as they do today in the majority of the world, so the fact that the two Marys were the first people to witness Jesus after death really lends credit to the truthfulness of the Bible. Further, I would argue that the most fundamental belief of Christianity is that Christ died to forgive the sins of all of humanity, and resurrected to rule alongside his Father in Heaven. The belief in Christ’s resurrection is necessary in order to subscribe to the entire narrative of Christ being the savior and messiah of all of humanity. Without Christ’s resurrection he simply becomes a martyr, or perhaps a false prophet to many people. It is his “otherworldly” resurrection that signifies his status as the savior of mankind.

Second Reply:

Hello classmates and professor,

This week I chose option A which states “the whole Christian Church stands or falls based upon the historical resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” This seems to be a great debate, and I thought it’d be interesting to research. After review it seems the loyal believers of the resurrection have a few  facts that they abide by. Below are those facts.

1. The Empty Tomb

2. The Burial

3. The Guard

4. The Disciples

5. The post resurrection appearance

6. The enemies of Christ gave no refutation of the resurrection

To the believers these are the undeniable facts that they go by to support that the resurrection took place. Now i will lay out the facts that the doubters go by.

1. There is no external historical confirmation of the New Testament stories

2. The New Testament stories are internally contradictory.

3. There are natural explanations for the origins of the Jesus legend

4. The miracle reports make the story unhistorical

From my readings it actually has me a little torn to side with one particular group. On one side I am not one to question another person’s faith (who am i to do so) cause at the end of the day all a person has is his/her faith and if you stand for nothing you will fall for anything. Then you go to the other side who takes a literal approach with evidence and simple reality that a person cannot rise from the dead. For the sake of argument I will join the believer of the Christ being resurrected side. There seems to be evidence pointing to Christ being crucified on the cross, we also know his tomb was sealed with an almost immovable stone, and when they finally went to prep the body for a proper burial he was gone. Now moving to the belief that a miracle happened and a dead person rose up. In my 40 years on this planet we have heard examples and rumblings of miracles of the unexplainable, also there are things in the ocean and in space that simple science cannot explain so it is very hard to shut down this side of the argument. The Christian faith is a strong one. A particular verse to me that stands out is “And if Christ is not risen then our preaching is empty and your faith is in vain” (1 Corithians 15:14). To me this means that Christ knew he was going to be crucified and if he died for our sins we will be forgiven and he will rise again. So the faith in some people’s mind can become reality, and by Christians having this deep faith they will live their lives according to the gospel. I enjoyed this weeks discussion topic and I look forward to the insight from my classmates.

[1] Initial Forum Question:

It has often been said that, “the whole Christian Church stands or falls based upon the historical resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”  Given the nature of your studies this week in Christianity, compare and contrast the foundational issues at the center of this debate and academically defend your position as to whether you agree or disagree with the statement based upon the results of your research?
