Population Health Management Dashboard

Competency

Apply data analytic methodologies to diverse populations to address population health needs.

Scenario

You have assessed your local population health needs and identified data sources and data sets that are needed to help providers make immediate gains in patient outcomes. Your health systems Board of Directors is requesting that you develop a high-level population health management program dashboard. For this assessment, you need to assess local population health needs and identify data sources and data sets that are needed to help providers make immediate gains in patient outcomes. It is a major undertaking to plan, design, and implement a robust PHM. Therefore, your health systems Board of Directors is requesting that you develop 1-2 page high-level population health management program dashboard. In this dashboard, list the health needs based on the community needs assessment and the critical data sources and data sets needed for the population health management program your health system is planning to launch.

Instructions

Using the information from the modules 01, 02, and 03 summative assessments, construct a dashboard that lists the health needs based on the community needs assessment that was performed and the critical data sources and data sets needed for the population health management program your health system is planning to launch.

Week 3 Discussion: The Judiciary: Structure, Jurisdiction, Pretrial, Bail, Plea Bargaining, and Trial

Prior to beginning work on this discussion, please complete the assigned readings in Chapter 6 and Chapter 7 of the Wright (2012) text, and review the website, About Federal Courts (Links to an external site.). https://www.uscourts.gov/about-federal-courts Be sure to support your descriptions with references to Wright’s text and/or scholarly sources

The judiciary is an important part of the criminal justice system. After police arrest an individual, an extensive chain of events is set off in the American court system. As noted, Section 6.2 of Chapter 6 of the Wright (2012) text indicates that there are 51 separate court systems in the United States. The federal government operates one court system, referred to as the federal court system. Each of the 50 states operates a court system, referred to as state court systems. Both the federal courts and the state courts have three main levels: trial courts, appeals courts, and supreme courts. Note that Wright (2012) also includes a discussion of the term jurisdiction in Section 6.2 of Chapter 6.

Your instructor will assign you a section for this discussion. Respond to the prompts within your assigned group. For the fourth part (in each group) consider how knowledge of cultural sensitivity and diversity awareness could apply to positively influence a process or responsibility. Based on your assigned section, address the following:

  • Section 1: State and Federal Trial Courts
    • Describe processes for preliminary hearings and for the grand jury.
    • Describe the main responsibilities of state trial courts and federal trial courts.
    • Interpret how at least one constitutional principle relevant to social and criminal justice relates to one of the above processes or responsibilities.
    • Apply knowledge of cultural sensitivity and diversity awareness to at least one of the above processes or responsibilities.
  • Section 2: State and Federal Appeals Courts
    • Describe processes for arraignment and for plea bargaining.
    • Describe the main responsibilities of state appeals courts and federal appeals courts.
    • Interpret how at least one constitutional principle relevant to social and criminal justice relates to one of the above processes or responsibilities.
    • Apply knowledge of cultural sensitivity and diversity awareness to at least one of the above processes or responsibilities.
  • Section 3: State Supreme Courts and the United States Supreme Court.
    • Describe processes for jury selection and for the jury.
    • Describe the main responsibilities of state supreme courts and the United States Supreme Court.
    • Interpret how at least one constitutional principle relevant to social and criminal justice relates to one of the above processes or responsibilities.
    • Apply knowledge of cultural sensitivity and diversity awareness to at least one of the above processes or responsibilities.
  • All Students
    • Briefly define the term jurisdiction as it relates to courts.

Guided Response: Your initial post should be at least 350 words in length. Support your claims with examples from the required material(s) and scholarly resources, and properly cite any references.

*******NOTE FROM THE PROFESSOR*********

“Hi Class, The instructions indicate that I will assign one of the three sections to each of you. While I have no issue with doing so, my preference would be that you pick the section that you are most interested in and complete your response. Respond to the prompts within your assigned group. For the fourth part (in each group) consider how knowledge of cultural sensitivity and diversity awareness could apply to positively influence a process or responsibility.

Also, notice that I will be sending you some points to review and respond to that relate to sentencing and corrections. As you know, next week we will be covering corrections and accordingly, I thought it would be useful to send you some discussion points and questions that relate to this week and next week.

Optimally, I would like for you to address all three sections either through your initial post or responses to peers and/or instructor. Please indicate which section your are responding to and ensure you meet the required length and content requirements. Good Luck! “

C++ simple coding homework

I need this done in 2 and a half hours. simple coding nothing too complex because the class just started

and I CANNOT use namespace

 DESCRIPTION

WARNING: You are only allowed to use code covered in class, HW, or in the textbook up to Chp 3. Students who wish to use more advanced code must currently have an “A” in the course and obtain permission from me via email before starting the project. ALSO, code must be your OWN. Ask for hints, but write your own code! All students who copy from each other or get the same code by working together will receive zeroes.

This program will help users calculate quantities needed for a recipe. All the user needs to input is the number of servings and the name of the bread they will be using. Your program does the rest.

Below is the default recipe for bread. You must start with this. Then, based on how many loaves the user wants, you have to do the necessary calculations to figure out the new quantities for each ingredient.

Recipe: by bakers percentages

  • Starting water: 72%
  • rye flour: 10%
  • red wheat flour: 20%
  • King Arthur special patent flour 30%
  • Bread flour 40%
  • sourdough starter 20%

Normally after mixing the bread is allowed to rest

  • additional water 2.5%
  • salt 2%

Serving Units: In a home kitchen, consider the (ml or g) unit as indivisible. A person cannot calculate, for example, what half of an (ml) is. Also consider a loaf to be indivisible (Ex: You can’t have 7.5 loaves).

Bakers percentages are expressed in terms of total flour used. (By adding up the rye, red wheat and bread flour). For example making two loaves of bread is generally 1000g total flour. So rye at 10% would be 100g.

INPUT: You will need to first get the name of the bread, then the number of loaves desired.

OUTPUT:

NAME: “Name of the bread”           NUMBER: “number of loaves”

INGREDIENTS:
<blank line>
<tab>”ingredient in 20 spaces” “amount in 5 spaces” “g or ml”

Notes: The bold are lables for the program output
The stuff in quotes is output.
There are 10 spaces after the name before the NUMBER label

Check the output and make yours match

Getting the Mimir test cases correct is only PART of your grade. The rest will depend on the quality of your code. I will never remove points for things that are personal preferences. As you know, your author and I have slightly different styles. However, the proper use of constants, correct data types, and other standards of using this language will be enforced. Ask me questions during class if you have any doubts.

NOTE: You have unlimited submissions. You may keep uploading your CPP file until you pass all test cases and are happy with your code. I will only grade the last submission. Location of your CPP in CLion: C:Users[your name]CLionProjects (look inside the folder with the name you gave your project)

NOTE: for this assignment write it to run in CLion – ignore the need for extra lines of output

ACTIONS

DQ-Advocacy

This week we learned about what it means to be an advocate, as well as the different types of advocacy, and how to advocate in a sociologically mindful way.

For this discussion, you are going to create an advocacy message related to the social justice issue of your choice to share with me and your peers. An advocacy message is a core statement that you would use to define your advocacy mission to the public. This is critical to ensuring that people understand what you are about and what you want to accomplish. The message created here is different from creating an entire advocacy campaign – that would entail building a team, having a timeline, developing activities, budgeting, etc. all along with the message. For this discussion, you are just laying the groundwork as though you were considering creating a campaign.

Steps to creating an advocacy message:

1) Open with a statement that engages your readers. You want something attention grabbing. Using a dramatic fact is a good way to lead-in! This should only be one or two sentences.

2) Present the problem. Describe the issue and who it impacts.

3) Provide facts and data. Consider your audience. In this case – college students. Look for facts that are relevant to your audience in some way.

4) Share a story or provide an example of the problem. This makes your message more compelling. Putting a human face on the issue is an easy way to get people to care.

5) Connect the issue to your audience. Why should they care about this social issue – how is it relevant to them?

6) Make your request – state what the audience can do to help. This could be as simple as sharing a hashtag, or something more serious like donating money (not in real life – no money will be exchanged here!).

Write this discussion as though it is a document you are going to share to gain interest in your social issue. In other words, do not begin with “Hello, peers!” Act as though this document is the beginning of an advocacy campaign.

Looking for an example? You may be familiar with the infamous Carole Baskin with Big Cat Rescue (shown on the Netflix documentary Tiger King). Check out this page (Links to an external site.) from her website and notice where she hits the key points as mentioned above in the ‘steps to creating an advocacy message.’ Your discussion assignment does not need to be nearly this thorough, but this is a great example. There is also a section starting on the bottom of page 198 at this link (Links to an external site.) that discusses how to create an advocacy message.

Please see attached book reading

phi discussion 4

Watch the video above and answer the following questions

What is consciousness? What if consciousness is a product of the operation of the brain? Would this devalue consciousness or should this cause us to regard the brain and the physical world as more wondrous than Descartes seemed to believe?

Is free will compatible with science – such as quantum physics (e.g. Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle) – after all?

Descartes believed that only humans have dual existence as matter and as mind. Was he wrong? Must we also acknowledge that animals like octopuses have minds? Does this also mean that we have to acknowledge that they have a spiritual aspect to their lives?

Discussion Assignments have the following objectives:

  1. Identify and describe key concepts presented in textbook reading material, video lectures, and other assigned content.
  2. Draw connections between assigned content material and practical areas of interest.
  3. Explore ideas in philosophical depth beyond the presentation of course material.
  4. Draw connections between philosophical discourse and one’s practical life.
  5. Engage in respectful philosophical conversation.
    1. This objective will be measured according to replies posted to other students or to professors.

When completing discussion assignments, please remember:

  • Your main post should take a minimum of 300 words. Explain and support what you say.
  • Any sources that you use must – including textbook and video lectures – be cited and referenced responsibly in APA format.
  • You should post at least two substantial replies to other participants.
  • Please refer to the syllabus and grading rubric for more guidance.

Project Submission: Strategic Planning Proposal for DEUTSCHE BANK AG

Competencies

In this project, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following competencies:

  • Analyze internal and external business environments
  • Recommend short-term and long-term strategic focuses
  • Communicate strategy to a variety of audiences

Scenario

You have been appointed the director of strategic planning for the Fortune Global 500 company you selected in Module One.

The vice president of strategy and operations (VP) has confided in you that strategic planning has been a challenge for the company over the past year; specifically, crafting new strategies and aligning them to the company’s mission and goals. You have now been tasked with creating a new strategic planning proposal to help the company explore at least one new growth opportunity to increase its revenue or market share in the industry.

Your proposal should present a detailed analysis of the company’s internal and external environments as well as specific actions the company can take over the next five years to achieve the targeted growth. Your proposal will be presented to various stakeholders at different levels in the organization, so you will need to adapt parts of your proposal to suit different needs. Additionally, you will need to send a shorter executive summary of your proposal to the leadership team.

Directions

Strategic Planning Proposal

Complete an analysis of your company and organize this information into a presentation. Compile all slides from your milestone assignments to create a final presentation for your stakeholders. Use resources such as the company website, which will have pertinent information including its sustainability report, and other relevant sources to help complete this presentation. Be sure to address any feedback you have received on your milestone assignments.

Part 1: Presentation

Your final presentation should include the following elements:

  1. Perform an internal environment analysis of your company to understand the company’s current business environment and future goals. Present the results of your analysis.
    1. Overview (slide 1): Provide a brief overview of the company’s products, services, and customer base.
    2. Existing entities (slides 2–3): Identify at least two existing partnerships, mergers, or acquisitions. Explain how these entities contribute to the company’s revenue or market share.
    3. Five-year goals (slide 4): Speculate on what the company wants to achieve in the next five years by considering their mission statement, values and goals, and relevant sections of their sustainability report.
  2. Perform an external environment analysis of your company to identify the company’s competitive environment and find an opportunity the company can utilize to grow its revenue or market share in the industry. Present the results of your analysis.
    1. Competitors (slide 5): Identify at least two of your company’s top competitors and explain how they compete with your company.
    2. Competitive advantages (slides 6–11): Evaluate your company’s competitive advantages.
      1. Summarize the unique skill sets, products, location, and values of your company.
      2. Use Porter’s five forces to analyze your company’s competitiveness and growth potential in its industry. Assign a rating to your company for each of Porter’s five forces as very high (VH), high (H), low (L), or very low (VL). Justify your ratings.
    3. Area of opportunity (slides 12–13): Identify one area of opportunity that will help your company increase its revenue or market share over the next five years. Explain how this opportunity can lead to an increase in revenue or market share.
  3. Conduct a buy-build-ally analysis for your company and recommend actions your company can take to realize your identified opportunity within five years.
    1. Implementation strategy (slides 14–17): Recommend an implementation strategy for your company.
      1. Determine whether the company will need to buy, build, or ally with another company. Consider the skills, facilities, products, and services the company will need, to capitalize on the identified opportunity.
      2. Use the speaker notes of your presentation to explain the strategy behind your buy, build, and ally recommendations.
    2. Timeline (slides 18–19): Construct a timeline of what your company should achieve by the end of each year for the next five years.

(Note: Use both on-screen text and speaker notes to convey your information effectively. For example, you can use brief bulleted lists summarizing the highlights of your analysis on the slide and include more detailed explanations where needed in your speaker notes.)

Part 2: Executive Summary

Create an executive summary of your strategic planning proposal. Remember to consider the audience and purpose of this report when drafting your summary.

  1. Purpose: Briefly explain the purpose of the proposal.
  2. Current business environment : Describe the internal and external business environments of the company.
    1. Outline the various analyses you conducted and briefly summarize their importance.
    2. Describe the opportunity for growth you identified and how it will impact the company’s revenue or market share.
  3. Recommendations : Recommend actions, such as buy, build, and ally, that the company should take to utilize the identified opportunity and explain the reasons for your recommendations.

What to Submit

To complete this project, you must submit the following:

Stakeholder Presentation

Submit a PowerPoint presentation with 18–20 slides. Sources should be cited according to APA style. Consult the Shapiro Library APA Style Guide for more information on citations.

ASSI 3(20)

  1. Return to the beginning of the      chapter at the opening scenario of the security offi- cer shooting the      scientist’s cousin. Did the security officer apply appropriate, reasonable,      deadly force? Explain your answer.

2. You are a member of a jury on a civil case involving the question of negligent se- curity. In this case, a young man was killed by a stray bullet at a restaurant park- ing lot at night during the weekend as he approached a group of rowdy people about to fight. The restaurant had a history of three gun incidents before the murder: 1 month earlier a shot was fired into the restaurant, without injury; 3 months earlier police arrested an individual for assault in the parking lot and confiscated a pistol; and 5 months earlier police found a revolver in the bushes in the parking lot following an arrest for public intoxication. Each incident occurred at night during the weekend. Following these three incidents, the restaurant main- tained the same level of security on the premisesdgood lighting and training em- ployees to call police when a crime occurred. Does the business owe a duty to provide a safe environment to those who enter the premises? Did the restaurant breach that duty? If the duty was breached, was it the proximate cause of the criminal act and the murder? Is there foreseeability in this case? Is the restaurant negligent? Why or why not?
