Homework Help – Essay

I need help with 2 assignments for a Proposal Argumentative Essay. I have attached the first assignment which is a worksheet that helps to outline the essay with research and citing. The 2nd is the Proposal Argumentative Essay.

The essay needs to be no less than 750 words MLA style with a reference page for cites.

I chose to do the paper based on my career path as an entrepreneur starting a Performing Arts After School Program.

Here is an example of what I wrote for the first paragraph to give you an idea of what I want the topic to be. Feel free to tweak it.

Over the past few years, many public schools have eliminated performing art programs in their schools; whether it is for an elective or after school activity. With its high demands on testing, school boards have increased the efforts in preparing students for state exams, and decreased budgeting for extracurricular activities and class electives such as performing art programs. What many people fail to realize is that art programs have the potential to enhance many different skills that could help improve grades and testing abilities. Furthermore, an arts education can also help a student to improve self-esteem and social skills. With this knowledge of learning about the benefits of performing art programs, there would be an improvement on each schools academic grade. With this knowledge of learning about the benefits of performing art programs, I developed my own performing art company.

Discussion 2: Skills and Sensitivities

Imagine how you might respond if you were the helping professional working with the clients who made the following statements:

  • “How do you know what I feel? Have you ever picked up a weapon?”
  • “Do you know what it is like to kill someone?”
  • “I’m missing two legs. It makes me half a soldier. Don’t you get that?”
  • “My husband is not the same. What happened to him over there? He won’t talk to me anymore. I’m scared.”

As a helping professional, how do you begin to talk to military personnel about their war and combat experience? What approaches, skills, and sensitivities do you need to work with this population?

In Discussion 1, you considered the impact of war and combat on military personnel. In this Discussion, you consider the skills and sensitivities that you, as a helping professional, need to support and work with military personnel. A helping professional’s training is extensive. Most training programs require you to complete a self-assessment of the skills and sensitivities you need to work in the field. Training to work with military personnel is no different.

To prepare for this Discussion, review the media in the resources, and select one interviewee to address. Analyze the interviewee’s war and combat experience and consider the skills and sensitivities you would need if you were the helping professional assigned to treat this service member.

Post an explanation of the skills and sensitivities you would need to possess if you were to talk about the personal effects of war and combat with the individual in the interview you selected. Describe one skill or sensitivity you might need to develop or enhance in order to work effectively with military personnel who experienced war or combat. Finally, explain how you might develop these skills.

Be sure to support your post with specific references to the resources. If you are using additional articles, be sure to provide full APA-formatted citations for your references.

How to write a good essay

During the student years, whether as part of an application for a seminar or competition (prize competition), you need to write an essay on various topics. It’s nice to know that there are certain rules when writing an essay, and it is recommended that you follow them if you want to succeed in writing an essay.

Paper topic

Essay topics, even if they are defined, can be quite broad, so it is allowed to narrow the topic to an area acceptable to you. Before you start writing, you should turn to https://payforessay.pro/, as well as do a little research and get an idea of what has already been written on this topic. Very often the essay is based on criticism or analysis of parts of the essay, of course, on the construction of one’s own attitude to it.

Introduction
In the introduction, you must clearly indicate the topic you will be writing about, as well as the position you will take when writing. Taking a position while writing is actually the hardest part of writing a well-structured essay. Finally, you should be able to explain in one sentence what your thesis is. It should be as narrow, definite and clear as possible. For example, a good thesis would be: “I want to explain that differences in the economic situation of countries with economies in transition are the result of economic policies created at the beginning of the transition process.” On the other hand, the same idea should not look like this: “I want to analyze the differences in the economic well-being of countries with economies in transition.”

In the first version, you defend the position, defend it and start a dispute, inserting a new idea, and in the second version, you only slightly point out some facts.

This is the only part of the essay where writing in the first person is allowed, and in others it is recommended to write in the third person.

The announcement of how the essay is organized should follow the introductory thesis. Depending on the volume of the essay, you will develop several points of view to defend your dissertation. You can count them, let’s say: “Three arguments in defense of the thesis will be presented. The first indicates … The second represents … In the end, it is proved that … »

Elaboration
In developing the esse, the arguments you have presented should be discussed in the order in which you presented them. Each chapter of the essay should begin with a topic, repeat arguments and your position on it. If you use chapters, give them names to make it easier for the person to read your essay. The justification should follow each argument in the following way: facts, ideas, opinions of authorities in this area, as well as your own opinion. Finally, it should be explained whether the argument “withstood” the dispute or not, in one short paragraph.

ConclusionWhen all the arguments have been presented and explained, and the point comes to an end, you should present a conclusion. If the essay is well organized and structured, the arguments are proven and ultimately validate your original thesis. You only need to show the progress made as a result of your research on the topic, and you can highlight the possible implications of your essay. Or you can buy an essay at https://payforessay.pro/buy-essay/.

One of the things to look out for before writing an essay is the length limit . Of course, it is up to you to decide whether you will comply with the restrictions or not, but you must know that the restrictions were imposed for a specific reason and should be complied with. Compliance with the limit is governed by the + -10% rule. This means that the text should not be shorter than 10% of the maximum and 10% longer than the maximum. E.g. if it is an essay of 3000 words, let us write an essay of 2700 to 3300 words. Use the word counting option that exists on your computer (under the INSTRUMENTS option) to get an idea of the word counting in your essay.

In some, very rare cases, it is quite difficult to reduce an essay to a single dissertation. In such cases, for the sake of clarity, it is permissible to replace the thesis with a research question, which must have all the characteristics, as well as a thesis that only allows you to take a position at the end of the essay. We do not recommend this approach, but if you choose this approach, be sure to answer the question in the conclusion of the essay. The reasons for this attitude lie in the simple fact that the person reading your essay should cover dozens or hundreds of others who also touch on the same topic. We are sure that in connection with such circumstances you would like to simplify the work of the person reading your essay as much as possible, and thus increase your own chances when evaluating it.

Communicating the Change

HRM 587 WEEK 6 COURSE PROJECT

Course Project

The Communication Plan piece of your project is due this week. Review the Course Project tab for full information about this piece of your project.

Part 4: Communicating the Change (Due Week 6)

An important part of any change project is how the change is communicated to the organization, to the change agents, to the line workers, to the customers, and to the public. Along with media relations issues, communicating change (especially in a publicly traded company) can involve multiple legal and regulatory aspects, as well as personnel and management concerns. Perhaps the single most difficult piece of handling Kotter’s “establish a sense of urgency” is that too many inexperienced or immature change agents read this to mean “panic the troops.” Never do this.

This project piece will have 3 parts:

1.     The main part of your project this week will ask you to pick ONE of the company’s change plan, and develop a communication plan for the company. This plan should be submitted by using an excel spreadsheet, setting out the Stakeholders, the timeline of the communication plan, the method of communication, the rationale for why you chose this method of communication, the purpose of the communication and identifying “who” will do the communicating. The grid for this project can be found in doc-sharing, entitled “Grid for Week 6 – Communication Plan.”

2.     Pick ONE of the communication pieces which you would have used which is listed in your communication plan, and write the communication in a Word document (either the text or the script, if the communication would have been oral.) Be sure to review the Week 6 lecture and the examples of communication plans and types there for more assistance on this piece of the project. If you use any form of communication from templates you find online or in a textbook, be sure to cite your source. Your instructor will grade this based on how well it relates to the audience/stakeholder group to which it is intended.

3.     The “real world” aspect of this project is that you will write a 1-2 page analysis of one of the media pieces about one of the company’s changes written (or provided via oral media) by the company. For this section of the project, please analyze any media, news, or other communications which explained the change going on in the organization. Explain in your paper how the company handled communicating the change to its stakeholders.

Testing for Bivariate Categorical Analysis

You have had plenty of practice with data analysis in the Discussions and hopefully you have received helpful and encouraging feedback from your colleagues. Now, for the last time in the course, it is time once again to put all of that good practice to use and answer a social research question using categorical statistical tools. As you begin the Assignment, be sure and pay close attention to the assumptions of the test. Specifically, make sure the variables are categorical level variables.

For this Assignment, you will consider three different scenarios. Each of these scenarios include a research question. You will examine each scenario, choose a categorical data analysis and run a sample test.

To prepare for this Assignment:

  • Review Chapters 10 and 11 of the Frankfort-Nachmias & Leon-Guerrero course text and the media program found in this week’s Learning Resources related to bivariate categorical tests.
  • Using the SPSS software, open the Afrobarometer dataset found in this week’s Learning Resources.
  • Next, review the Chi Square Scenarios found in this week’s Learning Resources and consider each research scenario for this Assignment.
  • Based on the dataset you chose and for each research scenario provided, using the SPSS software, choose a categorical data analysis and run a sample test.
  • Once you perform your categorical data analysis, review Chapter 11 of the Wagner text to understand how to copy and paste your output into your Word document.

For this Assignment:

Write a 1- to 2-paragraph analysis of your categorical data results for each research scenario. If you are using the Afrobarometer Dataset, report the mean of Q1 (Age). In your analysis, display the data for the output. Based on your results, provide an explanation of what the implications of social change might be.

Use proper APA format, citations, and referencing for your analysis, research question, and display of output.

 Week 11 Scenarios

1. Results of your literature review conclude that trust in the police is an integral part of any democracy. You wish to test whether a relationship between trust in the police and presence of democracy (measured with dichotomous variable) exists in Africa. Using Afrobarometer 2015, please provide: a 1–2 APA style paragraph statement that furnishes an answer to this question, note the relevant statistics, comment on meaningfulness, and include your relevant SPSS output.

 2. Following up on your previous analysis, you now wish to determine whether a relationship exists between citizen trust in police and whether respondents reside in rural, urban or semi-urban settings? Using Afrobarometer 2015, please provide: a 1–2 APA style paragraph statement that furnishes an answer to this question, note the relevant statistics, comment on meaningfulness, and include your relevant SPSS output. In addition, please comment on what could be influencing the results you obtained.

3. Is there a relationship between perceptions of current economic conditions and extent of a democracy? Using Afrobarometer 2015, please provide: a 1–2 APA style paragraph statement that furnishes an answer to this question, note the relevant statistics, comment on meaningfulness, and include your relevant SPSS output. In addition, please comment on what could be influencing the results you obtained.

Please see below

Work is due today Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 2300 hours (11pm eastern time zone). Please complete assignment and cite sources according to APA standards.

For this assignment you will delve deeper into the literature and materials on Symbolic Interaction Theory. Please complete a short, five-entry annotated bibliography (300-500 words, excluding the actual reference information) that includes the following:

  • An Introduction that concisely introduces the theory or concept examined, and the conceptual commonalities and differences between the entries (for example, how do the sources deploy the theory/concept differently?) This is called a “critical preface” and it is placed on the first page, before your first bibliographic reference and its discussion.
  • Three peer-reviewed journal articles that are either about the theory or concept in question or use the theory or concept as a lens/framework. The annotation must explain how these articles use or illustrate the theory or concept, and what you learned about your chosen theory from reading the article.
  • Two additional sources. These can be websites/web articles, videos, news articles, podcasts, etc. These sources must either be about the theory or concept in question or use the theory or concept as a lens/framework. The annotation must explain how these sources use or illustrate the theory or concept, and what you learned about your chosen theory from the source.

In September 2010, Rutgers University student Tyler Clementi committed suicide by jumping off the George Washington Bridge. The suicide occurred after the 18-year-old discovered that his intimate encounter with another man in his dorm room was broadcast on the Internet. The offenders, Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei, set up a webcam and live streamed Clementi’s encounter without his knowledge. In April 2011, Ravi was indicted on 15 counts, including invasion of privacy and bias intimidation. Wei was offered a plea bargain to testify against Ravi. Neither offender was charged with the death of Tyler Clementi. Questions remain as to whether this was merely a display of cyber-hate or if this incident could legally be deemed a hate crime.

For this assignment, review the Tyler Clementi case and think about whether or not Clementi’s right to privacy was violated. Consider whether the offense should be considered cyber-hate or a hate crime. Then think about why the offenders were not legally charged with Clementi’s death.

The Assignment (2–3 pages)

  • Explain whether or not Tyler Clementi’s constitutional right to privacy was violated.
  • Explain whether the offense should be considered cyber-hate or classified as a hate crime.
  • Explain why the offenders were not legally charged with the death of Tyler Clementi.
