Evaluate the current compensation philosophy for your organization or  an organization of your choosing (from a third-person perspective).  Write a three- page paper (not including the title and reference  pages). Your paper should be written in a scholarly third-person tone;  it should be in APA format. In addition to the introduction and  conclusion, your paper should address the following:

1. Evaluate the organization’s current compensation philosophy and  propose ways to enhance or revamp the current compensation philosophy to  meet the changing needs of the organization and its employees. 
2. Examine key factors within the internal and external environment  including the mission and strategic focus of the organization, as well  as the financial and cultural aspects of your organization (i.e., they  cannot have a compensation philosophy where they “lead” the market if  the organization does not have the financial resources) that should  influence this philosophy. The proposed philosophy itself should be no  more than a short paragraph. 
3. Identify the key factors that should contribute to the  organization’s development based on your proposed organizational  philosophy.

Remember to write from a third-person perspective. Here’s the basic tenants of your assignment.

First, you must choose a word. Then, you should create a one-page, info-graphic with the following: 1) an image, 2) definition, and/or 3) description.

It is important that you think about the important of research.

Research consists of immersing yourself into reputable sources and reading the discourse written by professionals in the field related to the topic or idea. For research, you are welcomed to utilize the PGCC library resources, online academic search engines, etc.

Think about the following ideas as you are writing and designing:

•Etymology: Explain the origin of the word itself (where did the word or phrase originate?)

•History: If relevant and helpful for explaining the term, discuss the history of the term/its use/controversies associated with it(was the term once used by one group of people, but since has transformed and become used by another group)?

•Description: List and define the component parts of the word (is the word derived from another language? What is the root word?)

•Principles of Operation: Discuss how the word or phrase function, including any special materials or conditions required; “how it works”(is it a noun, verb, adjective? Is it sometimes used as slang?)

•Classification: Show how the word or phrase fits into a larger category (what other words or phrases used are similar to this word or phrase?)

•Examples: Include Anecdotes or instances of this term from the real world

•Illustrations: Provide visual aids

The word you choose should come from your major, your work field, or any other specific place that you think would be useful. Again, you may work in pairs, a small group, or by yourself.

 Part III – Resonance

An LC circuit initially charged will oscillate with energy flowing back and forth between the inductor and the capacitor. A circuit like this loses very little energy because neither inductors nor capacitors dissipate energy in the same manner as a resistor. If this circuit is driven by an external source at its natural frequency, energy will be added to the system during each cycle. In other words, the circuit will resonate, and exhibit oscillations with large currents.

Construct an AC circuit with a capacitor, and inductor, and an AC current source.
Set the capacitor and the inductance to the values specified by your instructor in the Questions and Answers for Module 5 Discussion Board.
Right-click the power source and set its frequency to a value that is not the resonant frequency of the circuit. Wait at least 2 minutes, and then write down your observations in your laboratory notebook.
Pause the simulation, and reset the AC frequency so that it is equal to the resonant frequency of the circuit. Wait at least 2 minutes, and then describe your observations in your laboratory notebook. Be sure to point out any similarities or differences with the previous step.
Add a resistor to the circuit with very small resistance, R =0.01Ohms. Measure the peak current at frequencies (f) equal to multiples of the resonance frequency. In particular, try frequencies equal to 0.5, 0.75, 0.9., 1.0, 1.1, 1.25, and 1.5 times the resonance frequency (fo).
Use Excel to plot peak current as a function of frequency on a scatter plot. Do not insert a trendline.
