Blockchain Implementation Project Plan- Developing blockchain app on Walmart

Every project that has a reasonable chance at success starts with a solid plan. A project plan is far more than just a schedule – it is a master plan that directs all planning and execution efforts to meet a project’s goals. For this class project, you will create a project plan to implement a newly developed blockchain application.

The first step in this assignment is to describe your organization’s environment and blockchain application. You can choose a consumer-based or enterprise application environment. Each one has its own environmental concerns. Once you describe your organization and blockchain application environment, you will provide the abbreviated project plan. (A real project plan will include detailed schedule, budget, procurement, and other supporting plans. This project won’t require all components of a real-life project plan.)

You abbreviated project plan (with organizational and blockchain environment introduction) must be no less than 1500 words. Your paper must be in proper APA format, including proper in-text citations and end references for any external sources you use. No more than 10% of this paper may originate from external sources. This isn’t a research paper – it is a project plan. Your paper must start with the following sections (which should comprise at least 1/3 of your paper):

    Abstract

  • Organizational overview – Introduce your organization (it can be fictitious). Describe what your organization does, how it defines success, what services or products it produces, and why it decided to venture into blockchain technology. Then describe the specific goals blockchain technology must meet to be deemed a success.

  • Blockchain environment overview – Describe the type of blockchain your organization has decided to implement and why. Explain how your chosen blockchain implementation is the best choice for your organization’s goals and capabilities, and how your organization participates in your chosen blockchain network’s governance.

  • Deliverables – a list (with descriptions) of artifacts to be delivered to the customer (defined in
stakeholders above) at the end of the project

  • Critical success factors – What criteria will customers use to determine whether the deliverables
    are acceptable?

  • Work Breakdown Structure – What steps are necessary to take your application from a
development environment to a deployed and operating environment? This section demonstrates an understanding of the implementation process. Provide a description, along with details, of tasks necessary to deploy a blockchain application and make it available for end users. You don’t need to provide specific commands or details but describe the process in enough detail that your technical staff could create procedures from your plan.

  • Quality plan – Describe how you plan to measure and enforce quality standards at each step. Describe your chosen quality metrics and how you will ensure your desired quality standards will be maintained.

  • Operationalization plan – Once you have successfully deployed your application conducted a formal hand-off to customers, describe how you will hand-off the maintenance of your application to operations. Describe the process of handing off the application and what operations needs to take delivery of your application responsibilities.

Don’t let this plan become a collection of lists. The purpose of this assignment is for you to consider the level of effort required to implement any blockchain application. We aren’t covering the initial blockchain network implementation – just an application’s implementation. Be creative when you choose an application. Really think through how to describe your blockchain application in such a way that you can use your description to get funding and support for your project.

Outline & Annotated Bibliography

First, I need a paragraph about each source of the paper and then an outline of the paper (Like a summary). Here is what you need to know:

Part 1: Bibliography

An annotated bibliography is an organized list of sources with an accompanying paragraph that describes, explains, and/or evaluates each entry in terms of quality, authority, and relevance. An annotated bibliography usually incorporates the following:

1- A citation in correct APA format

2-  Each citation is followed by a brief descriptive summary. What are the main points or arguments of the source? What topics are covered?

3- After you have summarized the source, critically evaluate it. Where was it published and what does that say about the source? Who was the author? What are the biases of the article/source? How does this source compare to others you have found? When was the article published? Is it still relevant?

Part 2: Paper outline

 Outlining

An outline is a basement of your research paper from which you build up the whole paper. Each outline consists of three main parts the Introduction, the Body, and the Conclusion

This part should do the following:

1) state clearly the issue to be examined and indicate why it is important and why you have selected it as topic of research;

 2) give a brief summary of the existing literature dealing with the topic and indicate the general conclusions reached in that literature, including both the areas of agreement and disagreement; and

3) indicate the basic argument of the paper, but need not provide the detailed evidence that will be employed in the final paper to support the argument.

Discussion questions –Chesnutt

Discussion questions –Chesnutt

On the surface, Chesnutt’s “The Passing of Grandison” seems to be merely a realistic, although humorous, portrayal of the relationship between a rich, Southern plantation family and black slaves. However, Chesnutt cleverly undermines the supposed “realism” of the story when Grandison returns and re-escapes with his entire family. When the “simple” slave tricks the Colonel, Chesnutt wants us to see that the “realistic” portrayal of southern life is only a deceptive fantasy of gentle masters and happy slaves.

1. From the Colonel’s perspective, name at least 2 traits that describe what slavery “really” is. Find a passage for each trait.

(Hint: The Colonel thinks of himself as a proud and happy father of silly, pitiful, child-like slaves. He thinks his slaves are so happy and grateful to have a great man, like him, to watch over, guide, and protect them. Is this the truth of slavery or just his own imagination?)

2. The theme of deception is also at the core in the relationship between Dick Owens and Grandison. Describe one way Owens deceives either his father and Grandison (1 passage). However, Grandison is even more deceptive not just to the Colonel, but also to Owens. How does Grandison trick Owens and the Colonel (1 passage)? Chesnutt, as the writer, never lets us know what Grandison is thinking throughout the story. Offer an interpretation about why that is the case. (Hint: As you read the story, did Chesnutt trick YOU?)

The guidelines are simple:

1.  Be sure you know what you’re talking about, literally, before you pass judgment on an idea.

*Support all ideas/opinions with some arguments/evidence/logic/examples (you don’t need to be thorough or perfect, but there needs to be some reasoning behind your claims that you discuss).  Acknowledge at least one possible counterargument and explain why you still think your perspective is better.  You need not come up with all these arguments out of thin air–if you agree with an author use their own arguments and explain what makes them so convincing in your own mind (Ex: how does Hobbes argue for self-interest and why do you think it’s a good argument?).  I am happy to help you out with this if you are unsure of how to analyze a particular argument.

Please know that this does NOT mean you need to respect any idea I present in class–you don’t!  Some ideas really are stupid, or immoral, or lacking in credibility–even if they are popular or are a part of the generally accepted “canon” of Western philosophy or whatever else.  The point here is not to force you to accept all theories simply because they’re popular/exist but rather to have you ask yourself if you know what the theory is actually claiming before you pass judgment on it.  That’s it.  If you feel you really do have a grasp on the issue feel free to say whatever you want about it (you can be “mean” if you want, not a problem.  Call Hobbes or his theory lame, I don’t mind–but calling a theory lame is a strong statement, and as such requires strong arguments!)–just make sure you can communicate to me that you know what you’re talking about.

Of course, you are not obligated to know anything about the ideas we present in class before we discuss them, so if you don’t have an opinion or aren’t sure how to argue for or against an idea, that’s ok!  You aren’t required to share your personal beliefs, this is only if you do decide to discuss them.

2.  Demonstrate that you have read the reading/watched the film/did the activity required for that week and have been in class for lecture in your papers.  If I can’t tell for sure that you’ve done all the work I can’t give you an A.  When in doubt, ask me if you’re on the right track via rough drafts before the due date and I’ll let you know.  You don’t need to summarize the material (although you can if you want to)–just discuss the main ideas in such a way that I know you’re doing all the work.  If you’d rather not talk about certain main ideas that’s fine IF you show me your lecture notes and reading notes! I understand not all material will be of interest to you or you might want to focus your paper on one or two ideas–again, that’s fine, just make sure you’re annotating your readings and taking thorough lecture notes to show me so I can tell that you are paying attention and doing all the work.

That’s it!  No grammar rules or anything else except page minimum–which is 3 1/2 pages Times New Roman 12-point font, standard margins.  Again, if you have any questions or concerns just ask.  I’m happy to help.  🙂

Description

QUESTION E

Twinkie, Lala and Dipsy are siblings. In order to secure the future of his brothers, Twinkie formed a company and carried out their family business. All three of them became members and directors of the company. Prior to the company’s incorporation, Twinkie ordered office furniture from Lulu. The furniture was later delivered to the company and Lulu claimed for payment. Lala and Dipsy refused to accept the delivery and asked Lulu to take back her furniture. https://proficientacademichelpers.com/s-you-progress-through-the-modules-of-the-course-you-are-learning-how-the-unite/ Lulu was furious and insisted that the company is liable for payment.

At the beginning of the company’s business, Twinkie advanced an amount of RM25,000.00 to cover all the administration expenses of the company. After several years, the company’s business grew rapidly. Twinkie wished to have his money back. Lala and Dipsy declined his request. According to them, the company is technically Twinkie’s since he holds 85% of the total issued shares in the company.

On 28th. August 2019, a resolution was passed to alter the company’s constitution in respect of signatories on the company’s cheque and account. Formerly, the constitution stated that, “any withdrawal of money from the company’s account which exceeds the amount of RM10,000.00, shall requires signature from THREE directors”.  Under the alteration, only TWO directors need to sign and authorise the transaction. The resolution further stated that the alteration shall take effect THIRTY days from the date of the resolution. On 18th. September 2019, the company’s cheque for an amount of RM15,000.00 was issued to Poh. The cheque was signed by Lala and Dipsy. https://samples.eliteacademicessays.com/project-plan-for-a-drug-counseling-agency/

Analyse the above scenario based on the Companies Act 2016 and relevant decided cases.

6043 Module 3

At the next family gathering, you want to impress your parents/grandparents with the innovative ideas you have learned in business school at Wilson college.  They have decades of experience in investing in the stock market and they believe that economic profitability is the primary responsibility of business. You would like to convince them that a triple-bottom-line approach is the modern path to stronger economic performance.

In your case, be sure to draw a clear relationship between a firm’s triple-bottom-line performance and its shareholder value creation performance. Try to find an example firm that has a better triple-bottom-line performance than its rivals and outperforms them on shareholder value creation as well. Argue your case in the face of other examples, such as that of PepsiCo, in which your family might argue that “Purpose without Performance” can be detrimental to the long-term sustainability of their retirement portfolio.

A good article for reference as a starting point is  “The Bottom Line of Corporate Good” by Ryan Scott which you can find at this link.  https://www.forbes.com/sites/causeintegration/2012/09/14/the-bottom-line-of-corporate-good/#3a95c80f3576

As always, be sure your argument is backed by well founded research and you follow all the guidelines for discussion.

The post should be a minimum of 500 words. The thoughts and opinions expressed in your thread must be substantiated by research and literature. A minimum of two, reputable, external sources are required in the post. All in text references should be in correct APA style format and the references should be in APA format at the bottom of your post.

All original threads should: 1.  Bring clarity to the issues being discussed. 2.  Raise new and novel (yet relevant) points. 3.  Rationally defend your stated position.

Each initial post in the class should be considered a mini case analysis.  Pages 460-465 of the text is a review of How to Conduct a Case Analysis.  In your initial post and in your responses to your classmates, you should follow the steps of the strategic management process.  You should include (1) analysis of the problem; (2) proposal of one or more alternate solutions; and (3) justification for which solution you believe is best and why.

Assignment Preparation

Overview

There are three written assignments in the course, in which you will use the same organization to analyze the culture and make recommendations. It is essential you start to think about your company selection now.

Consider selecting a company for which you or a family member works. You might also choose a civic organization. To ensure your selection sets you up for success in all three assignments, be sure that your company:

  • Is one with which you are familiar and is one in which you have access to internal processes.
  • Has a true issue that need to be resolved.
  • Is one for which you can think of possible solutions to the issue that are realistic and enforceable.

Requirements

For this assignment, write a 1–2 page double-spaced paper in which you will discuss:

  • Your selected organization.
  • The issue you will be analyzing.
  • How the issue hinders organization efficiency.
  • This course requires the use of Strayer Writing Standards. For assistance and information, please refer to the Strayer Writing Standards link in the left-hand menu of your course.

Confidentiality:Since you will be addressing real issues in real organizations in your assignments, it is important to respect confidentiality. Feel free to use an alias for any company or individuals you might mention in your assignments. Remember that all discussions about these organization should only occur within this course and not be shared with people outside the course.
