comparison of court system

The attached document is a report created by the Justice Policy Institute,
“This report compares and contrasts the criminal justice policies and social, economic, and governmental structures of five countries – Australia, Canada, England and Wales, Finland and Germany – to the United States. While each nation has a unique set of circumstances and realities, each has enough fundamental similarities to the U.S. that cross-national policy adoption could be considered. An evaluation of the various similarities and differences can broaden the existing dialogue and create more momentum for the types of systemic reforms that will reduce the burden of over-incarceration on communities, states, and the country as a whole.”
Begin by reading through the report, and then pick one other country to highlight, along with the United States.  Complete your assignment using those two countries.

  • Assignment: Create a Comparison of Court Systems: Create a visual representation of a comparison between the United States justice system and another country.
Please only use the resources cited in this module for your information.  Choose one country to compare to the United States, and three separate points of comparison.
showing the information from the country of your choice, and include a comparison of the United States.

For example, you could compare violent crimes and look at the rates of arrests, convictions, and recidivism.

supply and demand graph

You are a junior executive of a new cellular phone carrier called Technologies of the Future (TOF) that competes in the same market as Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and T-Mobile. You have been tasked with providing the Committee Board members of TOF with a report that discusses issues that would be encountered by Technologies of the Future (TOF) when deciding whether to trade at a domestic level and how TOF would be affected by international trade, specialization, tariffs, and quotas. Graph the supply and demand curves in Excel using the values given in the table below and paste the graph into a Word document.Your graph must be properly constructed; please use a scatter graph with markers or a scatter graph with smooth lines. The graph should include a chart title, x-axis, y-axis, and contain a properly labeled equilibrium point.

  • Draw on your graph a price ceiling and a price floor and discuss what those terms mean. Explain which government mandated price would result in a market shortage and a market surplus and why?
  • If the price elasticity of demand is 5, and prices increase by 10%, calculate the percentage change in quantity demanded.
  • Explain which TOF smartphones and Apple iPhones would be considered substitutes or complementary goods in terms of changes in price, and what impact a change in quantity would have.
    • Is the cross-price elasticity of demand positive or negative, and why?
  • Explain which TOF smartphones and phone chargers would be an example of substitutes or complementary goods.

Journal for Internship Course 5

Question:

Journal response. In Weeks 3-7 you were directed to keep a professional work journal (Please refer to Week 2 for a review of instructions). Now you will review your work journal entries and arrange some of them into an essay. The essay will reflect upon those five weeks of experiences recorded in your journal and what you have learned.  Include how they may have furthered your career or caused you to rethink your career goals.  Your essay should include your experiences, observations, and the key concepts based on the internship and business course experience. The CLA1 assignment will be a Turnitin paper of 4 to 6 pages.

Your paper should be formatted in APA style. Include at least two (2) peer-reviewed sources related to course material taken in your academic program.

Reminder About Journaling: Whether you want to be able to look back at where you started, set a future course for yourself and seek a new path, or just deal with present issues, journaling helps you do that in a reflective way. You need not write every day. Journaling gives you a place to better understand yourself, to plan your goals, and to follow-up on goals. One pitfall of journaling is that it can become part of a log of your feelings for any one day and you want to avoid these types of emotional responses.

2. Journal needs to be formatted in APA 7th edition

3. Need to have at least 2 peer-reviewed articles as the references (Recommend to find the articles from proquest.

6. I have also attached Journal for Internship Course which you wrote it for me before, and please also use that as the reference, and do not repeat the contents.

The Impact of Nursing Informatics on Patient Outcomes and Patient Care Efficiencies

In the Discussion for this module, you considered the interaction of nurse informaticists with other specialists to ensure successful care. How is that success determined?

Patient outcomes and the fulfillment of care goals is one of the major ways that healthcare success is measured. Measuring patient outcomes results in the generation of data that can be used to improve results. Nursing informatics can have a significant part in this process and can help to improve outcomes by improving processes, identifying at-risk patients, and enhancing efficiency.

To Prepare:

  • Review the concepts of technology application as presented in the Resources.
  • Reflect on how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence may help fortify nursing informatics as a specialty by leading to increased impact on patient outcomes or patient care efficiencies.

The Assignment: (4-5 pages not including the title and reference page)

In a 4- to 5-page project proposal written to the leadership of your healthcare organization, propose a nursing informatics project for your organization that you advocate to improve patient outcomes or patient-care efficiency. Your project proposal should include the following:

  • Describe the project you propose.
  • Identify the stakeholders impacted by this project.
  • Explain the patient outcome(s) or patient-care efficiencies this project is aimed at improving and explain how this improvement would occur. Be specific and provide examples.
  • Identify the technologies required to implement this project and explain why.
  • Identify the project team (by roles) and explain how you would incorporate the nurse informaticist in the project team.
  • Use APA format and include a title page and reference page.

  • electrical safety,
  • fire prevention,
  • fire protection, or
  • life safety code.

The article chosen for the review must be from a professional (scholarly) journal and published within the past five years. The Academic One File, Academic Search Ultimate, and Business Source Ultimate databases are good sources of journals for safety-related articles. If you are not sure if an article you have chosen meets the assignment requirements, be sure to contact your professor for additional guidance. Prepare a review and critique of the chosen journal article that includes the following elements:

  • a brief introduction to the article,
  • a summary and analysis of the key points in the article,
  • how the article relates to the concepts presented in the course textbook,
  • whether or not the article provides support for the relevant Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards surrounding the topic, and
  • how the article could be used by the safety professional to improve accident prevention efforts.

The assignment submission must be a minimum of two pages in length, not including title and reference pages. APA formatting is required. All sources used, including the course textbook, must be referenced. Paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying in-text citations. Student Success Criteria
View the grading rubric for this deliverable by selecting the “This item is graded with a rubric” link, which is located in the Details & Information pane.

    Instructions
The company you work for has asked you to prepare a document that categorizes leadership theories. Assume this document will serve as a reference to quickly identify and explain the differences between leadership theories. This document will have two parts:

    • Prepare a table in Word or Excel identifying at least five Leadership Theories (e.g., Situational Leadership Theory) in the first cell of each row. The following columns should offer 3-5 distinctions (variables/traits) between the varying theories. For example, advantages and disadvantages of each theory could be two of the columns.
    • Hint: For your Word document or Excel sheet, Rows are horizontal flow (left to right) and Columns are vertical (up and down). In the first cell in each row, list the Leadership Theory (identify at least five). The other 3-5 columns are your choice. Anything you can compare or contrast between the theories will work.
    • In a one-page report, describe the best leader you have worked for by answering the following questions:
    • What theories of leadership do you think were most important to this leader and how did this leader make effective use of them?
    • As a leader, which theories would you two have in common, and which theories would you not use and why?

Final Project Guidelines

In the Final Project, due by Day 7 of Week 11, you are asked to demonstrate your ability to conduct an abbreviated literature review on a forensic psychology topic of your choosing and report your findings from the literature review.

Your Final Project should include 12–15 research articles on your chosen topic and should be empirically based. The articles also should represent contemporary findings on your topic and come from peer-reviewed journals. Your Final Project should end with a summary of the major findings from your literature review and your recommendation of possible future directions that research on your chosen topic may cover.

A superior Final Project demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge and critical thinking appropriate for graduate-level scholarship. The paper must follow APA Publication Manual guidelines and be free of typographical, spelling, and grammatical errors. The paper should be 10–12 pages, not counting the title page, abstract, or references. Please note that quantity does not always correspond to quality, and a well-written Final Project that includes all of the necessary information can be accomplished in fewer than the maximum number of pages. The Final Project for this course will be evaluated according to all four indicators in the Application Assignment and Final Project Writing Rubric located in the Course Information area.

References

Please note that you must use primary sources. Peer-reviewed journal articles should make up the bulk of your references (80% or more). In other words, you may use non-peer reviewed and non-empirically based material in addition to your 12–15 peer-reviewed, empirically-based journal articles. If referring to a book as one of your non-peer reviewed, non-empirically based sources, be sure to include all information in APA style, including specific page numbers. Note that an article referred to in a book is a secondary source and does not count as one of your peer-reviewed, empirically-based articles. You must go directly to the original source for your 12–15 peer-reviewed, empirically based articles. Additional information about secondary sources is available in the APA Publication Manual and in the Walden Writing Center http://inside.waldenu.edu/c/student_faculty/studentfaculty_562.htm).

In a multi-paragraph essay, take a stand on the issue by making a policy statement. Defend your position to a general audience of intelligent but skeptical readers.

This is a policy essay which means that your thesis must include a statement that includes a condition of action i.e. should, should not, must, must not, ought

Your essay must include the following elements:

· Introduction that includes comprehensive background information and clear statement of thesis (claim)
· Appropriate academic language & definition of terms

· Logical organization with appropriate transitions

· Well-developed body paragraphs that each have topic sentences that support your claim, each using a different rhetorical strategy

· Comprehensive Description of opposing viewpoint and rebuttal

Conclusion that demonstrates why your analysis is important

Persuasive writing, also known as the argument essay, uses logic and reason to show that one idea is more legitimate than another. It attempts to persuade a reader to adopt a certain point of view or to take a particular action. The argument must always use sound reasoning and solid evidence by stating facts, giving logical reasons, using examples, and quoting experts
