Prepare a 6-8 slide Microsoft PowerPoint highlighting the content from the paper

Submission Instructions:

• You may use resources from the APUS Online Library, any library, government library, or any peer-reviewed reference (Wikipedia and any other publicly-reviewed source is not accepted).
• The paper must by at least 6-8 pages double-spaced, 1″ margin all around, black, 12 point fonts (Times New Roman, Arial, or Courier) with correct citations of all utilized references/sources, (pictures, graphics, etc are extra – allowed but extra for the minimum page count).
• The title page and references are also required but don’t count in the minimum page count.
• The PowerPoint of 6-8 slides is a summary of this paper. No new topics, ideas or concepts are introduced in the PowerPoint that is not included in the paper. A minimum of 10 references are needed.
• The paper will be subjected to checking against plagiarism.
• The required number of pages do not include title or references pages – although these must be included.

The PowerPoint presentation consisting of 5 slides not including the cover slide and the reference slide. Every slide needs to include 100 words in the Notes section.

Students are to apply what they have learned over the course of the quarter to create a Public Service Announcement (PSA) about a physical geography concept, such as earthquakes, flooding, fires or responding to or adapting to climate change, soil depletion, acid rain, plate tectonics, hurricanes, etc…

I want you to tell me:

1. What your topic is

2. How it relates to Physical Geography, explain it in scientific terms

3. Who it is affecting?

4. When did this event start taking place or has it been occurring for a long period of time?

5. Where is this event happening? Is it happening on a global scale?

6. Why should we care?

7. What is being done for this cause? What solutions do you propose?

A reference page is required as part of this assignment.

Students will be given free rein as to the format of the PSA. Examples provided include videos, animations, Story Maps, or a poster with an infographic. See below link
