Review TABLE 5-1 NAS Global Health Report 2017 Recommendations and Actions for Nurses and Other Health Professionals on page 97 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) found under Additional Resources.  Select one of the global recommendations from Table 5-1 or one SDG that align with your interests or one you feel passionate about that could significantly improve global health. Review the recommended actions.  Consider what steps healthcare professionals can take to advocate for vulnerable people at a global level?

Reflect on global issues in healthcare and address the following in your presentation:

• Briefly describe the selected global recommendation or SDG and the identified vulnerable population
• Analyze current healthcare policies that impact your selected global recommendation or SDG
• Explain the reason you selected the global recommendation or SDG and why it is relevant to the vulnerable population.
• Discuss why the global recommendation you selected should be implemented or the SDG you selected should be achieved, including why there should be funding to implement the global recommendation or SDG. 

Assignment Expectations

Length: 5 to 7 minute video presentation (mp4 format) with slide presentation (PLEASE CREATE A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION THAT IS LONG ENOUGH FOR A 5 TO 7 MINUTE VIDEO PRESENTATION)

Structure: Include a title, objectives, and reference slides in APA format. Your presentation must include an introduction and a conclusion.

References: Use the appropriate APA style in-text citations and references for all resources utilized to answer the questions. A minimum of three (3) scholarly sources are required for this assignment.

Imagine that you work for the Davey Jones’ Locker travel group and you want to offer an educational submarine tour showcasing ocean features and landforms. Create a PowerPoint slideshow advertising a deep-sea tour of the world ocean. Your submission must address the following:

1. Your PowerPoint presentation should:
   1. Have a title slide.
   2. Contain at least 3 content slides.
   3. Reflect proper spelling and grammar.
   4. Cite at least 2 credible references and present the sources in APA format on a References slide.
2. Select at least 3 features/landforms found on the ocean floor to include in your tour. You can choose from these ocean feature/landform examples or decide to find your own instead.
3. For each feature that will be visited on the tour, address the following:
   1. Name the feature and describe what type of ocean landform it is.
   2. Provide an image from a bathymetric map showing the feature up-close (like those provided in the examples above).
   3. Describe how plate tectonics relates to the feature:
      1. Include a summary of the geologic process(es) involved in the feature’s formation.
      2. Indicate whether the feature is found at an active margin, passive margin, or in the abyss.

Consider the best method of disseminating the results of your presentation to an audience.

The dissemination of EBP results serves multiple important roles. Sharing results makes the case for your decisions. It also adds to the body of knowledge, which creates opportunities for future practitioners. By presenting results, you also become an advocate for EBP, creating a culture within your organization or beyond that informs, educates, and promotes the effective use of EBP.

To Prepare:

Review the final PowerPoint presentation you submitted in Module 5 (ATTACHED), and make any necessary changes based on the feedback you have received (I ALREADY CHANGED EVERYTHING) and on lessons you have learned throughout the course.

Develop a 5- to 6-slide PowerPoint presentation for a staff meeting that addresses the following:

• Identify your selected transition of care. ——” Transitions of care” refer to the movement of patients between health care practitioners, settings, and home as their condition and care need change. For example, a patient might receive care from a primary care physician or specialist in an outpatient setting, then transition to a hospital physician and nursing team during an inpatient admission before moving on to yet another care team at a skilled nursing facility. Finally, the patient might return home, where he or she may receive care from a visiting nurse or support from a family member or friend.
• Explain how you, as a nurse leader, along with your healthcare team, would apply systems thinking when providing a transition of care aligned with the IHI Quadruple Aim framework in order to improve it. Explain what the fourth aim in your strategy would be and why.

•  Population health
• Per capita cost
• Care team well-being
• Describe the key stakeholders that might be involved in this transition of care and how you would engage and influence them to improve the transition of care processes.
• Explain how systems thinking would inform your improvement plan for your transition of care.
