Organizational Research Memo

Assignment Content

  1. Imagine you’ve been assigned to an organizational committee that has been asked to evaluate the organization and make recommendations to the compliance officer on ways to strengthen legal and ethical compliance.

    In this assignment, you will use the Organizational Research Memo Template to research organizations, not agencies. Remember that an organization is a company or business – such as a hospital, clinic, or insurance company – and an agency is a part of the government at the federal, state, or local level, such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Department of Labor (DOL), or a state health department.

    Select 1 of the organizations listed below. Research the organization’s compliance information. Review the Organizational Research Memo Template to ensure you can obtain all information for the organization you have selected.

    • American Red Cross
    • American Heart Association
    • United Healthcare
    • Johnson & Johnson
    • Stryker Corp.
    • Verizon Healthcare
    • GE Healthcare
    • A hospital
    • A clinic
    • An insurance company
    • A nonprofit health care organization
    • An organization of your choice – the organization should not be a federal, state, or local agency, and must include information that is publicly available.
    • Write a 700- to 1,050-word memo to the corporate compliance officer. Use the Organizational Research Memo Template to complete the assignment.

      Cite at least 1 reputable reference. Reputable references include trade or industry publications, government or agency websites, scholarly works, a textbook, or other sources of similar quality.

      Format your references section and references used in your memo according to APA guidelines.

In this Discussion, you will share your proposed Final Project by creating a video. The video is an informal way for you to share your project ideas with your colleagues so you can exchange ideas and provide feedback.

Receiving and providing constructive feedback is an important part of the learning process. Feedback provides new information that we can use to correct and/or modify our work. It also lets us know what we are doing well. Providing feedback is equally important because it is an opportunity to share our knowledge, ideas, and experiences.

Your project proposal is one of the first steps in developing your Final Project, which is due in Week 5. After you share your ideas with your colleagues through the video you post for this Discussion, take some time to consider their feedback and how you can use it to inform and improve your Final Project idea.

Note: Please note the change in due dates. Your post this week is due by Day 3, and your response is due by Day 5.
For Assignment 2 this week, you will submit your Final Project Proposal, which, if appropriate, should include the feedback you receive from your colleagues through this Discussion.

To prepare:

  • Review the Final Project Instructions PDF in your Learning Resources.
  • Review the Kaltura Resources provided. Review any Instructor feedback you received from the “Final Project Milestone 1: Health Issue and Population of Interest Assignment” from Week 1 and incorporate it as necessary.*
  • Consider the following:
    • How significant of a problem is the health issue in the population of interest? What data can you use as evidence (e.g., incidence rates, prevalence rates, percentages, and averages)?
    • How does the health problem in the population compare to the problem at a national level?
    • What theories and models might relate to the population and health issue you have selected?

With these thoughts in mind:

By Day 3

Post a 2- to 3-minute video describing your proposed Final Project. In this video:

  • Describe your chosen health issue and population.
  • Explain the relationship between at least one health behavior and the health issue, and explain why this population might be prone to this behavior and health issue.
  • Select one of the theories or models outlined in the Final Project Instructions, and explain why you chose this theory or model to help you develop your strategies to address the selected behavior.
  • Based on the theory or model you chose (or its specific constructs), describe your initial ideas for at least two strategies to change the behavior.

Review a selection of your colleagues’ postings.

By Day 5

Post a 2- to 3-minute video describing your proposed Final Project. In this video:

  • Describe smoking your chosen health issue and population.

What types of houses are in greater demand after COVID-19

The coronavirus crisis has placed us before an unprecedented scenario: a global pandemic that has changed our lifestyle and whose negative effects, still impossible to quantify, will affect all sectors, especially the health and the economy.

But, contrary to what it might seem at first, the real estate market faces this new situation with some optimism, and experts are convinced that, contrary to what happened in 2008, this time this sector can become an economic engine for the next few years.

The reasons on which this thought pivots are several, although three stand out:

Unlike 2008, the circumstances that we are currently experiencing and that have triggered this crisis are completely exogenous to the economy and temporary in nature.

We have a healthy soil and economy, which has experienced a gradual recovery over the last few years, so the real estate sector faces the next few quarters and the arrival of the new normal. with some optimism.

The demand for real estate is high , and this can be linked to a potential growth in this market, both in second hand and in new construction.

It is undeniable that the real estate sector will experience certain changes after COVID-19, most of them related to digitization and the search for houses with open spaces , a trend that will take hold in the coming months.

In the following, we want to focus especially on this last point.

Obviously, the situation of the real estate sector and its recovery after the coronavirus crisis will not be homogeneous throughout Spain. However, some elements do seem to settle globally. One of them is the search for more spacious and accessible homes, with outdoor areas such as terraces or gardens. .

Sky Marketing strives to be Pakistan’s biggest real estate developer ever, guaranteeing the highest international standards, prompt execution, and lifetime customer loyalty. With projects smart city lahore prices

In fact, at real estate agencies like Deplace we have noticed that potential buyers search more for single-family homes on our website, although this may be due to both a real intention and a test by future owners.

What seems clearer every day, although we must still take it with a prudent distance, is that the promotion of new construction homes can be one of the economic engines to get out of this economic crisis, provided that certain conditions are met.

The most important is that the new residential projects adjust to the demands of users who, after confinement, have detected the deficiencies and needs of their homes and have established new priorities when redesigning the spaces of their home.

What will the houses be like after COVID-19?

Although the scarcity of land and the search for sustainable models make it practically impossible to convert the entire Spanish real estate stock into independent houses and single-family homes, the large residential blocks that will be built in the future must be progressively better than the current ones, following these four axes:

Greater luminosity

Users increasingly value that a house has natural light, since it is synonymous with health, well-being and financial savings .

Currently, the demand for houses with open spaces such as terraces is higher, in large part, because these types of houses are much brighter.

In new constructions, this aspect can be enhanced with the integration of large windows that receive natural light . And when it is not possible to obtain more natural light, you can opt for artificial light “in an intelligent way” , something key to create environments. You can also take a look at our article on tricks to light your house if you currently do not have many windows .

Another way to give light to a house is to go for neutral colors on walls and floors , white carpentry or design with minimalist decoration to convey a feeling of spaciousness.

Greater breadth and functionality

Although experts in the residential sector believe that the coronavirus crisis will encourage the construction of more spacious homes, it will not always be possible. In these cases, multifunctionality will be much more relevant .

We face the challenge of solving the housing problem by giving priority to quality over the consumption of large proportions of urban land . Basically, this consists of adapting the homes to the available space, taking into account that some rooms will be used in a different way than has been done until now.

Thus, more and more homes will have kitchens open to the living room, sliding doors or new distributions , such as the union or separation of spaces with partitions or simple works.

The objective, in all cases, is to achieve flexible, multipurpose and transformable spaces depending on the time of day , and that can serve as a ” home office ” or as family leisure spaces according to our needs.

Greater indoor-outdoor ratio

According to some experts, in the coming months real estate developers will give more importance to terraces and open spaces , and for this they will “sacrifice” meters of the interior of the houses.

After the health crisis of the coronavirus, users want houses with open and exterior spaces, so the properties with the most demand to live in are attics and ground floors with gardens.

The terrace has also become an almost essential complement for those who are thinking of changing their home, and spaces without enclosures such as patios, interior areas between blocks and accessible flat roofs are considered as an economical alternative to offer a greater openness to the outside.

Another post-COVID-19 trend in the real estate market will be the search for greater communication between indoor and outdoor spaces thanks to the covered terraces designed as extensions to create indoor-outdoor living rooms or the increase in bedrooms with private terraces and patios.

More attractive and functional common areas

In addition to houses with open space, more and more people give more importance to the common areas in their future home (gardens and green areas, gym, swimming pool, nursery, social room, sauna …) that allow them to enjoy their leisure time without need to move. This facilitates saving money and having more free time is key, and it can also be beneficial from the purely functional sphere: the possibilities are endless and in some cases it is even being considered to establish community coworking areas that allow teleworking outside the home but without leaving our building or urbanization.

Enjoying houses with open spaces is a priority, although it is not the only step to get homes adapted to the new needs that have arisen after the coronavirus. And it is that, if this crisis and its confinements is teaching us something, it is the importance of being comfortable in our living space , something essential when redesigning our home or buying a house.

Business 4350 Essay

 Assignment 2 1. Task You work in the Ethics Department for ABC Company (ABC). Your department is dedicated to advising its employees about their ethical obligations in the corporate setting. All communications you receive in this capacity are confidential. Luke, an employee of ABC, comes to you with the following scenario and asks for your advice. He wants to fully consider the situation. Your task is to advise him on all perspectives on the situation. Below are the facts that Luke provides to you. ***** Luke has been asked to work on a project that involves developing land recently purchased by ABC to build an adult entertainment retail store. According to the plan, the land is located on the corner of the neighborhood where Owen, Luke’s brother, lives. Luke knows that as soon as the plans for the store are made public, property values for the surrounding neighborhood will decrease significantly. ABC plans to publicly announce the project one month from today. Luke is concerned about his obligations of confidentiality to his company. However, Luke is also very close to Owen, who recently told Luke that he received an offer to sell his house at an “okay” price given the current real estate market. Owen is considering selling but hasn’t made any final decision yet. He wonders if he might get a better offer a few years from now when the real estate market improves. What is the ethical issue, why is this an issue, and what should Luke do about it? ***** For assignment 2, prepare a memo to the Ethics Department file that considers ONLY the following two theories that were discussed in class, in the online lecture on ethical reasoning, and your readings – Utilitarianism and Universal Ethics (i.e., Kant’s categorical imperative). You may consider any of the resources provided in your text, and online lectures. However, it is advised that you DO NOT consult the internet. Your papers will be graded based on the required resources for GENB 4350. Additionally, most of the accidental plagiarism cases have arisen from students using internet sources and failing to properly cite the work used. Additionally, there are ethical reasoning steps discussed in your textbook. Keep in mind that not all of the concepts presented in these steps may be included in this memo (but eventually may be included in Assignment 4). Finally, remember that Assignments 2 and 3 are considered “drafts” for Assignment 4, which will require you to combine your analysis from both prior assignments into one paper. Referring to your feedback on Assignments 2 and 3 will be important in preparing Assignment 4.

Rough Draft of Final Project AS

Attached is a paper on the topic you must follow!!!!!!!

e purpose of this assignment is to transform the planned “deliverables” (refer to page 425-427 of the course textbook) from your Week One Proposal into the production of your Recommendation Report in a rough draft. This draft will provide an opportunity to integrate your understanding of how to use technical writing skills to advance a project from its inception to a well-designed and purposeful report that includes text, graphics, and scholarly research. The draft of your Recommendation Report should demonstrate your ability to apply course concepts to produce suggested solutions to a problem or issue of concern that you may experience in your current or future career (refer to pages 477-481 of the textbook). Continue to research the topic you chose in Week One and develop your Recommendation Report, based on your Week Two Outline. The report should show ongoing consideration of the primary and secondary audiences that you analyzed in Week One.

Your Recommendation Report draft should use effective headings and lists (if applicable). See pages 269-271 of the course text. Incorporate the planning, design, and writing processes learned in this course, and be sure to cite all sources in APA format.

Your rough draft this week should be four to five pages in length, exclusive of the title page, references page, glossary, and any other appendices. It should have at least one, but no more than three, well-placed, appropriately-sized graphics. The final and expanded version of your Recommendation Report (due Week Five) should be eight to ten pages in length, exclusive of title page, references page, glossary, and any other appendices. Use the sample Recommendation Report on pages 489-513 of the course text to help yourself get started and to help you make sure you are including all the appropriate sections (refer to page 514-515).

JAVA (Tree) Assignment

Question 1: Non-recursive In-order traverse of a binary tree

Using Stack is the obvious way to traverse tree without recursion. Below is an algorithm for traversing binary tree using stack. See this for step wise step execution of the algorithm.

1) Create an empty stack S.
2) Initialize current node as root
3) Push the current node to S and set current = current->left until current is NULL
4) If current is NULL and stack is not empty then
    a) Pop the top item from stack.
    b) Print the popped item, set current = popped_item->right
    c) Go to step 3.
5) If current is NULL and stack is empty then we are done.

Let us consider the below tree for example

           1
         /
       2      3
     /
   4     5

Step 1 Creates an empty stack: S = NULL

Step 2 sets current as address of root: current -> 1

Step 3 Pushes the current node and set current = current->left until current is NULL
    current -> 1
    push 1: Stack S -> 1
    current -> 2
    push 2: Stack S -> 2, 1
    current -> 4
    push 4: Stack S -> 4, 2, 1
    current = NULL

Step 4 pops from S
    a) Pop 4: Stack S -> 2, 1
    b) print "4"
    c) current = NULL /*right of 4 */ and go to step 3
Since current is NULL step 3 doesn't do anything.

Step 4 pops again.
    a) Pop 2: Stack S -> 1
    b) print "2"
    c) current -> 5/*right of 2 */ and go to step 3

Step 3 pushes 5 to stack and makes current NULL
    Stack S -> 5, 1
    current = NULL

Step 4 pops from S
    a) Pop 5: Stack S -> 1
    b) print "5"
    c) current = NULL /*right of 5 */ and go to step 3
Since current is NULL step 3 doesn't do anything

Step 4 pops again.
    a) Pop 1: Stack S -> NULL
    b) print "1"
    c) current -> 3 /*right of 5 */

Step 3 pushes 3 to stack and makes current NULL
    Stack S -> 3
    current = NULL

Step 4 pops from S
    a) Pop 3: Stack S -> NULL
    b) print "3"
    c) current = NULL /*right of 3 */

Traversal is done now as stack S is empty and current is NULL.

Write a non-recursive application for the in-order traverse for a binary tree.

Question 2: Level order traverse of a binary tree (breadth first traversal)

Level order traversal of the above tree is 1 2 3 4 5.

We can use a FIFO queue to implement the level order tranversal of a binary tree.

For each node, first the node is visited and then it’s child nodes are put in a FIFO queue.

Step 1:  Create an empty queue
Step 2:  Start from the root, enqueue the root
Step 3:  Loop whenever the queue is not empty
   a) dequeue a node from the front of the queue and print the data
   b) Enqueue the node's children (first left then right children) to the queue

Write a method to implement the level order traversal of a binary tree.

Notes: For both question, you can use the Binary Tree class and the Node class defined in the book, you can also define your own Node class and Binary Tree class.

Requirements: Submit the repl.it links of the two programs

Please note that you need to submit two repl.it links. You can copy and paste the two links in a .txt/.docx file and upload the file. You can also submit the second link as comments in the assignment submission.
