One of the roles of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is to translate technical jargon into business language that senior leadership and executives can understand to support business decisions.

As the CISO, the board of directors has asked you to share your ideas for developing a cybersecurity program for the company. The board has specifically requested that you base your recommendations on the major components that make up a cybersecurity program, including personnel.

Part 1

Part 2

Develop a 10- to 12-slide presentation using your choice of software for the board of directors. Include a title slide, a reference slide, and detailed speaker notes. In your presentation:

• Concisely describe cyber security governance, including major components like organizational oversight and security processes.
• Recommend an information security control framework.
• Logically explain how an information security control framework benefits a business.
• Describe one organizational challenge of implementing information security and provide an example of how you, the CISO,would address the challenge.

Include supportive graphics and appropriate backgrounds and styles. Don’t use images unless you obtain permission from the copyright holder or you use copyright-free images.

Format all citations according to APA guidelines.

Each student will be responsible to pick a dietary supplement of interest, to write a report, and to do a Power Point presentation on his or her information to the class. A sign up list will be posted on Blackboard of topics chosen. Due to the fact that there are so many supplements available on the market, there will be no repeats in topics. You must email me and be approved for your topic in order for it to be assigned for you.  Assigned topics will be posted on Blackboard on a “Presentation Topic List”. Please reference this list before you email me your chosen topic to ensure that it has not been chosen already.  

Report:

Reports will be due on the day of your presentation.  Papers should be a minimum of two pages, however no more than three pages typed (12 font, Times Roman, double spaced). Content of reports should include but are not limited to:

–    Supplement’s use or uses

• How Supplement works
• Side Effects
• Comparison of brands and why one brand of the same supplement claims to be better than another (optional)
• Interesting facts or history of the supplement

Presentation:

Presentations will consist of information gathered for the report and should be a minimum of 15-20 slides. Any visual effects will be greatly appreciated. An actual sample of the product is not necessary. All presentations should be in power point format.

Grading:

The purpose of this assignment is to give you an idea of how many dietary supplements are available on the market today. Natural medicine and supplementation is a multi-billion-dollar industry and should not be overlooked in a nutrition class. Papers will not be penalized for grammatical error. As long as reports fall within the given guidelines of content, as well as length, and presentations are around 15-20 slides, then the full 50 points will be awarded.

 Put yourself in the position of the data analyst who is working with both the information technology department and the research team to develop the research data warehouse that will further this important research in the organization discussed in the article. You have been given permission to move forward utilizing resources within the information technology group to begin the process of database design. The information technology project manager has asked you to reflect on the overall design of the database and provide her a list of the type of entities that should be reflected in the new database as well as the nature of the relationships between these entities (one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many). 

Put together a memo to outline these entities and relationships so that the information technology department can secure the appropriate data administrator in programming resources to begin the technical design of the database.

In your memo,

· Explain the data entities that you see being necessary to design the new research database inclusive of data from the electronic health record, genetic sources and research administration sources.

· Describe the relationship between these entities in terms of one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many database relationships.

· Discuss your rationale for the relationships between the proposed entities in this new database design.

· Describe any error checking or referential integrity programming that you would like included in the overall design of the research database.

Paper Option 3: Develop a project entitled: “The Faces of Social Problems.” Photograph or download 10 images that represent social problems. For each image, give a brief bit of information defining and explaining the problem. This information should come from the textbook and class notes. You may use any format you choose, but again, you should have at least 2.5 pages of text (not including pictures). Use information from the text book and class notes to discuss what you have learned about social problems. Make use of theories and concepts from the course. You may also use any relative outside sources. You do not need formal citations from your sources, but make sure you mention them. (25 points).

IMPORTANT: KEEP IN MIND: For full credit, papers must contain text that is double-spaced with 12 point font and one inch margins. Length must be at least 2 and a half pages to receive full credit, so you might want to write a bit more just to be safe. Remember, 2 and a quarter or 2 and a third are not adequate page lengths. Please read the scenario below, and then answer the questions that follow in a 3-page analysis. Scenario:

University Community Hospital has recently been criticized for its less-than-perfect patient care. In an attempt to curb negative implications, the administrators at the hospital decided that it was time to review their healthcare policies and practices using an analytical research study. Understanding the importance of ethical practices when conducting scientific research, the administrators reviewed the types of research to be conducted (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods). They also realized that the scientific community expects researchers to adhere to ethical and scientific guidelines when collecting and analyzing data. In addition, the reporting function needs to be completed with integrity. Other concerns are to not cause harm to participants in the study and to maintain their confidentiality. Obtaining informed consent and the necessary approval and accurately reporting the findings are also part of the ethical healthcare research practices.

For this report, incorporate the following questions:

• Reference page: References that align with your in-body academic sources are listed on the final page of your paper. The references must be in APA format using appropriate spacing, hanging indent, italics, and uppercase and lowercase usage as appropriate for the type of resource used. Remember, the Reference page is not a bibliography but a further listing of the abbreviated in-body citations used in the paper. Every referenced item must have a corresponding in-body citation.
