Create a 12- to 15-slide Microsoft^® PowerPoint^® presentation for a Mini-Strategy using the Mini-Strategy Outline.

Note: Students will select a different organization from the one selected in Week 3.

Include the following in your outline:

• Evaluate the organization’s mission statement, vision statement, and values statement.
• Discuss the organization’s current goals and objectives.
• Assess the organization’s current status:
  • Leadership
  • Board members
  • Structure
  • Number of employees
• Conduct a basic SWOTT analysis and discuss the implications of those results.
• Report the most recent financial results including annual revenues, annual after tax earnings, and five years of year-end stock prices.
• Perform competitor analysis.
• Develop strategic recommendations to the board of directors including rationale.
• Create a profile of the current CEO including the following:
  • Background and accomplishments
  • Education and educational experiences
  • Length of time in the current position
  • Major career accomplishments
  • Leadership and management styles
  • Vision for the company
  • Innovative accomplishments

Prepare a 5-8 page PowerPoint Presentation on your assigned topic. Prepare a synopsis, telling me what is the significance of your topic, the ethical dilemma presented, and the different positions (minimum of 2).

Requirements checklist for presentation and final paper:

• Examine your chosen subject scientifically and culturally.
• Study a living person or people by doing ONE of the following:
  • One interview OR One observation (you are welcome to do more, but you only have to do one of either).
• Relate your research to at least 15 (more is better) resources—
  • 5 from your initial scholarly literature search in the first project assignment,
  • 5 course readings (readings assigned in the syllabus) and
  • 5 other sources that you have discovered in your research. Ask Dr. O’Bryan if you have questions about how to do this.
• Include both science and culture in discussion of your chosen topic. Ask Dr. O’Bryan or Mr. Reda if you want advice.

• Assemble a 3-5 minute PowerPoint narrated slide show presentation in which you will teach your colleagues about what you have found in your research.
• Keep it simple and straightforward. If you know how to create an MP4 file to upload to YouTube or some other content provider, feel free to do that. If you don’t know how to do it, send it to Dr. O’Bryan. If you want me to format your presentation, create a presentation in PowerPoint NOT keynote or other software) under 12 MB (this is important) and submit it.I’ll format it for you.

Company: ATUS (alt ice usa.Inc). First follow all the instructions to finish the excel sheet and put all the result in a word file. Second use the result to make a PPT for 5 minutes speech. ( When you calculate the data you may need to use the “Pom”, I upload a tool installation if you don’t have it.)

Project: Company (stock symbol allocated) and Case study. (160 points)

1) Describe Key Market Data, Company Information/ Description of Business Per Share, Overview, Key Financial Ratios and Statistics and Annual Summary.

2) Your company’s Supply Chain Model, recommendations for improvements. (20)

3) Obtain relevant data for the company from web (Yahoo finance or Google etc)

4) Use company stock price and/or sales data for recent 3 years (12 quarters) and forecast price using Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, and Naïve Methods.

5) Get lowest MAD, MSE, or MAPE.

6) Using Least Square method, predict sales for the next quarter (March, 18). – calculate tracking signal. (40)

7) Based on the stock prices at end of quarter ( 12 quarters) , plot x bar and r chart, calculate UCL and LCL .(could use moving range to get the average range )

8) Calculate Cp and CPK for stock performance, Use spec. limits 0 – 75 for $1 -$25 (current stock price), 25 – 125 for $25-$50 (current stock price), 50 -150 for $75 (current stock price), 75 -200 for $100 (current stock price) and $100 – $ 500 for over $100 price. (40)

9) Recommend Strategy in a Global Environment for improvement of productivity, reduce cost and other Operations changes which can improve its stock performance (In your words with text book relevance) (30)

10) Present in class (PPT – 5 min. max) on last day before Finals and send e-mail version copy of your case study. (30)
