Information Systems Security (ISS) provides a foundation for establishing protection of systems and data against risks such as: Unauthorized access and Use, Disclosure, System Disruption, Modification or Corruption, Destruction. And risk is the likelihood or probability of an event and its impact, so planning security is important, and one reason is the requirement for due care and due diligence. Due care is using reasonable care to protect the interests of an organization (developing formalized security structure including security policy, standards, baselines. Guidelines, and procedures). Due diligence is practicing the activities that maintain the due care effort

You are required to research and write on these two topics: the due care and due diligence to support the ISS policy of your company. What is the probability that charges against your company for lack of good governance?

Risk is threat times vulnerability (Risk = threat * Vulnerability)
