Capstone Project Instructions (Due in Week 4)

Here is a sample of the rubric I will be using to grade your paper: Capstone Presentation Rubric Capstone Presentation Rubric – Alternative FormatsYour Capstone Presentation Submission will consist of you presenting your paper through a visual media (YouTube). I do not expect you to read your paper to me, but I would like to see you present the major topics as well as using any visuals (props, PowerPoint, graphs or charts) to enhance your presentation and earn extra credit. The last activity you will submit for this class will be your presentation. You will complete this in Week 4 after the submission of your paper is complete. You will need to be able to upload your presentation to the internet so I am able to view it. The presentation is worth 20% of your final grade.Requirements:

  • The final presentation must be recorded and loaded up into YouTube. (You may take it down after the class ends if you so choose.)
  • This presentation should be at least 15 minutes long and have an audience of at least 3 people.
  • You must introduce your audience, and they must be visible on the camera during your presentation.
    • Tip: You may want to position the camera behind the audience.
    • TIP: One way to have the audience visible is to have them ask questions. These may be spontaneous, or you may “plant” questions.
  • Visual media is optional but encouraged. (You may earn up to 5% in extra credit by having a visual accompaniment.)
